  1. I'm struggling to find something good at the moment if anyone can shoot out some good series to watch?

    A few of min:

    • Maid (Netflix)
    • You (Netflix)
    • Jack Ryan (Prime)
    • Queens Gambit (Netflix)
    • Fargo (Prime)
    • Mind Hunters (Netflix)

I hear really good things about The Last of Us but it's not here in the UK??

  2. I try to keep as few ads as possible if you think they are annoying then good luck with the rest of the internet  there's literally just 1 at the top of the page, then sometimes another 3 posts down. Done!

But yes become a Gold Member. 😛

  3. I was sceptical when I heard you could get a Traxxas model under £200.

Out the box, there are better models out there for less money, however I bet these will get the Traxxas community behind them and have loads of really great hopup parts to make a basic model something awesome.

  4. The one in Modelsport is a display model, they do not have stock yet. You can go in and see it.

I'm a big fan, I think the truggy layout/setup and wide stance just works so well with these big scales.

  5. How's everyone doing with the cost of living?

Starting to see the pinch now, driving to work with diesel prices at £1.90+/l around me, food seems more money across the board, simple things like frozen pizzas seem daft money to what they were a couple of years ago.

Fortunate to have disposable income to absorb most of it but already having to cut back on holiday plans next year. Our trip to Canada a couple of months ago was ludicrous in comparison to when I've been before. Not really looking forward to what next year brings, especially if energy bills spike as much as they say.

  6. The Traxxas XRT fuses race-inspired design and engineering with X-Maxx® power and strength. The result is an all-new platform with sharp reflexes and unprecedented stability that is capable of exploiting the upper range of extreme 8s power and speed.

  7. UK are expensive across the board, Traxxas don't help though, they are very hands on when it comes to the supply to international retailers and set demands how suppliers should handle their brand abroad (e.g. forcing retailers to complete warranty cards, only supply stores that have physical stores). They almost act like a franchise.

I would say in this case though, these models are not popular in the UK, they were a flop and are probably flogging the unmovable stock they have in the USA - 'cause looking around nobody wants them here and nobody stocks 'em!

  8. Yeah I figured the All Day pack will cover more options than the Bright Day one, I'm just gonna slap the ND8 on and run with it. It's going to be sunny where I am going but I don't want to lose shots picking the wrong lens.

  9. As requested, here's my first video testing it on weekend.

I've got 3 days before I go to Canada so hopefully got enough practice in.

I forgot to set it to record at 60fps from 30fps so changed that now (the first clip might not be so smooth as it's 30fps slowed down to 75%). Also changed the object detection mode to avoid instead of brake, I tested it out flying at a few trees which was fun but scary haha.

Done no colour editing on Davinci but I'll save that for when I get back.

I've ordered some Freewell All Day lenses also... @m4inbrain I don't have much time to try lens out, is there one you'd just say use all the time? Probably just need a touch of motion blur. I'd be using auto as again don't have so much time to be buggering stuff up.
