Indeed that’s why I want a steel one but have a slight concern that it might cause a lot more expensive problems now the line like damaging the motor as there not cheap

like i said mate, i have never had any problems, i bought a steel one for the vorza and you know how expensive them motors were dont you?

the only think i didnt like about steel spurs is the price, they are nearly 30 pound!!

To be honest I should have checked it all before sticking a 3s in and letting rip 🤣 but might get a couple of plastic ones and a still one and make sure to mesh it properly but my idea was metal would be better but could also be more expensive to fix

ive never had any other problems at all, if i am being honest i do prefer steel vs plastic, that way you know it wont strip, well that is how i am thinking.

  3. when i stripped my plastic one, i changed it to steel straight away and not had any problems since. but then again, people have been saying that once you mesh it right then you shouldnt have any problems but sometimes imo steel is a better choice.

Aww I got all excited then for a minute. I found it but it’s a brand spanker and so more money than I want to spend 😞

Did you find it? I am going blind 😄

Yeah that definitely seems like a more realistic price for a decent setup for sure. I’ve been looking on Facebook but nothing has come up in a reasonable distance just yet, I’m very wary of just getting one posted from there as there seems to be so many scammers unfortunately. At least many of the members here are trustworthy 😁

i am sure 53hra is selling one but i cant seem to find the ad now.

I have messed with the needles because at first the car couldnt start at all

i think it would be best to reset the needles then tune it again but only once the engine has got up to temp.

i always use an engine heater before i try start the engine as it will prolong the life of the engine makes it easier to start.

has the car been in storage?

I did it full throttle too

make sure the idle gap is only 1-2 mill.

once you have sorted the idle gap then go on to the low speed needle, to me it seems bit lean on the low needle as it is trying to set off once you have started it.

To be honest froggy8, that's something I never thought of and wouldn't even know why you would need to charge them at different settings haha. I'm going to say il stick to one at a time for the moment, try keep things simple ha

If you have another rc that uses a different capacity lipo then you can use different setting per charging port.

Most of us here have more than 1 rc so it can be easier with a dual charger.
