Finished rebuilding my rear diff on my truggy and now its so so smooth

A diff rebuild kit for my hong nor crt as i managed to lock the rear diff and break a outdrive bashing on a building site.

Cleaned all my cars ready to be boxed up for the move to australia. Taking them on the plane with me so i can hit some awsome aus tracks

I have a 12 by 12 foot shed as my workshop. Its mainly full of rubbish and random things but there is a side with a bench and cars also shelves. Its like a man cave. I will put some pics up.

you will have so much fun with that. Me and my dad have one and if you up grade the plastic drive shafts it is unbreakable. We have put a slash rear rpm bumper and rpm arms and we have launched it out of skatepark quarters at insane speed and ony stripped a spur. Have fun with it man i gaurentee you will.

Put 300,000 wt diff oil in my centre diff in my hong nor crt and chand the pinion to a 13t to make it run cooler. Also put some new m3 screws in to hold my rear shocks to tower and some nylock nut to secure them nicely. Plus i stripped the rustler down and cleand it after it has sat on a shelf for two years with loads of mud on it and a dead vxl system. Poor rusy he will run again i have big plans for him

i dont know mate i think he wants to keep it clean because when we move everything has to be spotless for customs check everything. Also he is really busy sorting the house and passports so i dont know whats happening this weekend mate sorry. I have no transport I dont know if i could get there

(for when you had your stuck grub screw on your pinion) When you have a stuck screw like that i guess you used thred lock. So if you heat up the grub screw untill the thread lock is liquid again and it should just come undone. Same with when you remove the grub screw and the pinion is stuck to the shaft, heat the pinion up and it should tap out. You can do this on any screw that goes into metal.

the MMP is 6s ready so you can easily put a 3s with it. I had a csstle mmp and 5700kv 4pole motor and that ripped, but it was the highest kv motor you could use on 3s. Also mmp are tank and we have one in a stampede 4x4 witha smashed casing that has got wet and never gone wrong.

yea you should be fine with a 9t if it is geard properly or good enough. For gearing you could have a look on the internet for some gear ratio converters. If you have access to apps on a phone etc there are some good convertors on there too. Also you should be fine with badlands regarding you gear properly. Good luck in getting your firestorm riping around again and setting up your new system. (look on ebay for some good second hand comboes)

You want to run 9t up in my opinion. But if you gear properly and spend some time to work out a good gear ratio you could run 7.5t on 3s. I would go for a 8.5 or a 9t if you want insane speed and revs.

I had a castle 5700kv and mamba max pro in my rustler it was insane, but quite expensive. Sky rc toro do really good stuff if you get the gen 3 edition. they are the same as the hobbywing brand basicly but orange and red Lol

Fitted alza racing centre diff into my dads savage flux xl. Went way better and fitted way better than i thought it would and the vorza diff went in really snug and good.

I have a 48t spur gear and a 12t or 13t pinion to hand. So which pinion would be best to go for as i have a 16t in it at the moment.
