How the hell do you "unknowingly" electrocute your self 

Well I have been doing a lot of refurbishing in our new house, taking sockets off and the like. One of them was live even with everything turned off (another story about the daft wiring in my house) and it gave me what felt like a little buz and I didn't think anything of it. A few nights later I couldn't breath very well and my heart was racing so that's what lead me to hospital. 

Good you are better and back now. Just try to stay out of too much trouble in the future.

I think you can get 2600mah 3s packs about the same size as the original 2200 ones, kind of rectangular packs.  Will at least give you a few mins of flight time!

I have seen a few mentions towards the Kraken. If it's not due to be too expensive maybe that will be the way to go!

A puma conversion is easily done since its the same car underneath mk5 festa I think or the S reg type. There's some nice conversions online festa shape but puma bodywork lights ect.

Don't care about the shape, it's just the ease of conversion that sounds fun. I will have a look into it as it's a T reg so should be the same

Usual story .. owner spends a fortune then hopes to get their money back when they sell. Never happens. If it is upgraded, strip it and sell them or just take the hit

The warranty is for all the electrics IIRC... IMO, the most logical route if you do buy one, is to hammer the hell out of it for those 30 days, not necessarily on 8s, but just use it as much as you can, if the electrics survive perfectly, chances are they'll last a while (in theory) if they go pop, they're still under warranty, and if they go pop after the warranty, you've still had a lot of fun in those 30 days and have an already converted 5B base for a Castle system... Not sure...

That kind of my reasoning really, the overall cost of the conversion (plus time and effort) would work to about the same as the RTR.

Well if you went down the route of a KM, what you'd get for the bits you'd sell, wouldn't be a particularly huge amount, so it would work out quite a bit more (it's something I'm currently looking into)

Always thought the massive engines didn't look very fun, seem to roll over a lot and just wheelie too much, personal taste dictates of course... Unless it's in a 5ive, they seem to suit that platform best.

I didn't loose Interest I just spent all of my money on buying my skyline. Got the spare money again now so I am tempted.

Also the 70's do look silly, I have never used it I just bought it because it was so cheap at the time and I couldn't leave it. May not even use it still.

If it was structural yes, but my tops are very minimal at the moment, so they can wait. Where as the boot is leaking and creating damp in the car so the focus is set on making it water tight

Mate of mine hit a deer....and that rolled up over the bonnet, smashed the screen and on up over the roof. You got off lightly there I reckon.

I expected back legs sticking out the screen lol. Mayb a very worried looking deer staring at the drivers side.

My dad hit a pheasant that smashed his lights and grill and the phesant just jumped up and ran off. Wildlife are hard. Or cortinas are weak lol.

i would be interested, i do wonder how much thing actually cost now and then for cars.

for example my area isn't really rich but every now and then i'll spot a ferrari driving past and wonder if it cheaper than my expectaions would lead me to believe

actually i saw a mclaren p1 driving around town just last week.

TV should show what really happens when you sign on. they say jump you say how high. getting money stopped for no reason and don't even tell you it has been stopped. so the next thing you know is your in debt with everything. make you go for a job that pays less than what the travel is per week.

Imo, there no excuse for not working unless you have a serious medical problem, cancer, ms etc etc, my dad has one arm and a serious foot problem, hes still a mechanic and copes easily and hes nearly 60, to many bums in this country.

issue is if when someone is ill they are classed as all the same. so it is hard for people to look/find the right job. also job center is of no help.
