If he caused it he should get a life sentence a family's been torn apart because he tipped some booze down his throat then drove his car. 

Lots of different insurers state different they're isn't 1 across the board. All vary on insurance. That's where confusion kicks in as long as you can prove YOUR INSURED AND have consent to drive the car. 

Not what court or insurance have told us. This is where the law is majorly flawed.  Some say yes some say no.

Yup basically last time he was in court it was thrown out as it was proved he was insured to drive another car under his own car insurance. Which will be the same again. His car insurance covers him to drive any vehicle 3rd party. However they'res a flaw that isn't told by insurers. However the coppers he's been pulled by know jack about car law and have tried to do him for no insurance which of course he can prove he's got. 

Was another car before rm. And too late for car bk was 3 months from seizure till summons. Was compacted by then.

No basically it's a big confusion with the law mate. 

He has borrowed mine while his was off the road being repaired however I'd sorned it etc however we taxed it and payed for a temp insurance to tax it. However that expired but he was still covered according to his insurance under 3rd party. 2nd car he got took to court however case was rejected and compo was paid for incorrectly seized goods.

I've got a cheap as one I got from somewhere for 17.49 does the job.
