  1. Doh wasn't paying attention when posting the images. Fixed now! 👍 Ian...
  2. Went to an old BMX track I remembered about... Bit of a walk to get there, but I did get to have fun in this underpass of the A1(M). Sounded very cool! A lot smaller than I remembered, and most of the jumps have lost their lips or are showing the structure underneath which made for some 'interesting' jumps. I am starting to consider that my wing on my Hyper 7 should be classed as a disposable item though after another one bit the dust. 😛 It was one of the new style wings, and I am not sure If I was just unlucky tonight, but it did seem to break quickly. Any suggestions on alternative wings? Ian...
  3. Back in one piece, and ready to break. 😛 Ian...

Very nice! I have never bought any Lego train stuff myself, but have always loved the look of them. Ian...
  5. Claim approved. 😉 Congrats, and very impressive! Ian...
  6. Swing by Yorkshire on the way!😎 Ian...
  7. Videos don't seem to have loaded. 😪 Ian...
  8. Congrats! Now all we need is the video! 😉 Ian...
  9. Very nice, and I spot a couple of old Beatties bags there!! I think mine are still up my parents loft somewhere.... Ian...
  10. Continued the Hyper rebuild whilst berating the loverly weather that I am missing from some stupid cleaning decisions! Centre Diff rebuild, steering rebuild (EVERY bearing was rusty and felt nasty 🤬 ) and then it will be back ready for some bashing and never to be cleaned again!!!!!! Ian...
  11. The Hyper stripdown and clean has been continuing... Ian...
  12. First deliveries of the day! Ian...
  13. The shower. 😉 (Whilst not aiming at the bearings) I then heavily sprayed with GT85 and other lubricants, but looking at the diff casing which I took apart at lunch today there was water between the bearings so probably not the best thing to do regularly. I am going to switch to letting the dirt dry off, and brushing/blowing it off rather than washing it every time. (I just like clean buggies!) Ian...

May 2021 owes me a set of bearings for my Hyper. 😛 Ian....
  15. A couple of T-Bone bumpers for my Hyper, and a replacement Battery after the first one died on Sunday on its first run. Great RMA service from Hobby King. 👍 Ian...
  16. Could be a good idea. Just ordered some 12.9 bolts to replace the bendy ones. Interestingly I can't even get the rear hub pivot bolt out due to it being so bent!!! Live and learn. 😛 Ian...
  17. Yeah I thought I would give it a test, but Mr Bendy Bolt tells me that I am going to have to revert to 12.9. Explains why I thought the suspension was looking low last time I was out with it!!! Ian...
  18. Started to clean down the Hyper Signs of a good session I guess... My test replacement wishbone bolts didn't fair up to well! Whilst I liked having the lack of rusty bolts on the Hyper, I am guess that I need to get a stronger bolt here. Any suggestions? Also the bearings are all shot in it al ready so I need to readdress my cleaning methods as I guess I got to much water on them. Ian...
  19. Oops! 😛 Again thank you! @Nick Ian...
  20. Proof is in the bashing! 😎 Ian...
  21. It had all new bearings recently, but it has seen a lot of water recently too...... Will know once I rip it apart!! 😈 Ian...
  22. If I am not breaking it I am not pushing it. 😛 The noises have been there to extent since I rebuilt it, but it just seemed noisier today. Especially when compared to other peoples trucks and buggies (But none of these are ic conversions) Ian...
  23. Well the day started off with some fiddling. Had some steering turnbuckles to upgrade on the Hyper To The rest was just fiddling with some Velcro to secure the bodyshell a bit more: Then it was off to Bash! End result was fun: Two from shocks tops are knackered to go with one of the rear ones I did last week. 😛 Annoying thing is one of my brand new LiPo's gave up the ghost after about 20 seconds. RMA time.... The Hyper sounded like it was grinding itself to pieces, so going to strip the drivetrain apart this week. Pondering if it is the spider diffs making a lot of the noise, or just the motor?? Ian...
  24. Right time for some updating... So finished of the ESC mount: I added a couple of extra mount holes for the battery tray to provided the ESC with a bit more of a rigid mount: Seems to work ok: All fits loverly 🙂 Like in my Hyper 7, I used a disc brake lower mount to provide a guide for the wiring under the centre driveshafts: Unlike the Hyper I didn't need to extend the ESC wires RX (Just!!) so I decided to not use a wire cover of any type this time. We will see if I stick to this decision. So that is where I am up to with not many tasks left! What will probably delay this is painting a 'bashing' shell as I am waiting for it to stop raining for this to happen!! Ian...
