  1. However I have two servos installed in to my rx as well as the esc! I understand its job, and know how to wire it to the battery! However, I would like to know if I can replace the positive and ground wires from the esc with those from the bec
  2. I have a question about wiring a BEC, can I remove the black and red wires from my esc plug and fit the red and black wire from my bec in to the plug in there place?
  3. Cheers for all the kind words I have a small update to day, my 3 racing CDV's turned up today, so got them fitted, so now I can use full lock, stole an unbroken C hub off the read and Cable tied up the broken on as there is no chance of it splitting with the stock steering on the rear I have also fitted some cheap 100mm shocks of ebay no named build quality seams ok however they lower the car and give it more stability at the cost of articulation, so with it in a useable condition I threw some electrics, this is by no means finished, and I have alloy c hubs on the way, however the weight distribution seams to be pretty good the way it is. with this set up I am really happy, it throws it self around the garden with a good stance, I may try get some weaker springs however I am really happy, it twists and climbs how I wanted it to., I do need to set the bec up which I have never done, but the two 17kg servos struggle at times,
  4. been busy with this lately, beginning of the month I ordered a pair of axial behind the axle steering kits, however the seller set me only one bta kit, however he did said a axial swx bender chassis kit. so after looking in to the kit I decided to fit it to the scout, so I stripped down the scout and built up the new chassis, needed a few mods like drilling out the holes for the centre gearbox, but after a few tweaks I got it to work, here is how she sat how ever I found the shocks way too long from the scout meaning the drive shafts fouled the chassis plate, so I removed the springs which let it all sit lower then after breaking the C hub due too having too much lock so now awaiting new alloy chubs and CVD drive shafts I decided to get a little creative its not finished, I have cross braces to make and maybe some body panels for a bonnet/roof, and work out mounting the rest of electrics! when finished I will probably spray it up black to match the rest of the car
  5. Cool about the cvd's I did your locker mod the other week! But like I say too much lock now causing problems! Cvd's may allow me to run stock c hub's
  6. Ok so I have the ax10 behind the axle steering on my scout. But I have broke the c hub, so I am wondering if the ax10 alloy c hub's will fit the scout axle! Also do ax10 cv joints fit? The cv joints should allow the extra lock I have gained!
  7. I get a little longer, however mine drops to 3.2v until the alarm! Also I have been thinking about making a desktop charging box so I can use my normal Lipo charger
  8. You can fix the enter wheel with the hack! I think the latest version of the hacked firmware is quicker then stock, as well! Along with setting Lipo cut off and inactivity alarm well worth doing!
  9. Mine has the same switch as your's, I was going to change it any way! How do you like it? Used mine a bit now really like it! Although.I might weight it! I am in the process of making a desktop charger for it, as I don't like the charging through the controller!

  11. I am really happy with the weights. Not had any issues with the hub's though! Just done the diff mod in the front as I destroyed the old locker! Next up is behind the axle steering, and better servos!

Can we enter more than one?
  15. Yea i just need to give the rear as much lock as the front! This way you can run front steer most of the time! And any thing else when you really stuck!
  16. Used mine I a few times now. Like the feel, although its a little light! Hacked Mine within half hour of it getting here lol!
  17. I thought I would just show off some of the functionality I get with the hacked gt3c, this is all at a click of a button, 4ws Crab Front steer Rear steer
  18. Got the 4ws working on the maverick scout, my newly hacked fly sky gt3c means I now have options for front steer, 4ws, rear steer, and crab no crab
  19. have a fly sky gt3c to swap out the stock radio gear now, hacked it last night, got 4ws set up, just need to work out how to turn it on and off! however impressed with the improved functionality.
  20. I paid 35 for mine 3 weeks postage and no customs charge!
  21. T bones are a must! You can also fit steel diff gears, and steel spur gear if you want! I destroyed my stock gears. But I run twin motors! Wheels and tyres are worth the upgrade as the stock wheels are pretty rubbish! You could swap out the shocks, stock ones are pants but I have not found any thing worth changing them too, the rc18t standard ones are what I run as they last the longest before dumping there oil!
  22. Yo dude, I am waiting for my programmer to arrive, are you happy with it? Do you have any down sides? What cars do you run with the hacked radio?
  23. Orderedthe bits to hack a fly sky gt3b/gt3c, board, 4 pin header. And cable for 15 quid! Have a mates old gt3b to try first, However in an act of daftNess I bought me a new gt3c for just shy of 35quid posted! So hopefully can get the hand of hacking one before new one comes!
  24. Sorry to bump old thread? Did you manage to get your gt3b hacked in the end?
