  1. I was looking into the UK laws on Drones under 250g weight from what i have read the only reason you need an operator ID for the likes of the dji mini is because it has a camera on it, I am not sure why a camera on a drone under 250g would make this difference? but while most drones under 250g will probably have a cheap camera of some sort and are still be classed as more of a toy drone. Although i am not against any new rules needed for safety I just find this to be about trying to make money rather than safety, I think the rules are crazy when you get to the under 250g drone class , when you consider most are just cheap toys with a really cheap camera but you will still need the operator ID as the laws state ,
  2. I ordered Eachine E58 WIFI FPV with two batts for £40 , should be here in a few days seems ok for the price
  3. Atti mode is challenging more so if you where really high up and with wind, could be a challenge for someone with experience in flying too , I would get a cheap drone to learn to fly on first , one of my friends told me about his gps went off and entered to Atti mode, he had some experience in flying but was took by surprise he couldn't control it , he said there was some wind but he had it out in the dark which probably wasn't a good idea ,
  4. I never fly that high up because there so small and hard to see so I really wouldn't see the point in joining , I use to fly bigger RC planes years ago and I don't think they was laws back then or I just didn't know about them, now I enjoy the micro class rc plans and drones mostly indoors and sometimes outside if its not to windy , I think all these laws are just silly and complicated, as long as I can go my local park and not be breaking any laws I will always make sure I am under 250g.
  5. Do you know if the weight of the drone is included with the battery on ?
  6. I just want to know more about the RC flying laws in the UK, and if it all applies to me? I mostly fly micro rc normally fly in doors but sometimes I take them to the local park on nice days , I think my biggest drone is 230grams in weight , I am just wondering if these are in the same class of law as the bigger ones , Also heard they was new laws coming in for a test and licence to fly but really would feel silly if I had to take a test to fly micro planes and drones round the park .
  7. I am doing my first build with a TT02 and I am building it with the high ground clearance settings front and rear , My question is about the stock shocks and springs , the front shocks seem to be more loose fitting , If I hold it with two fingers I can get side to side movement and spring can more round the shock , the rear shocks and springs are more tight the springs are more compressed with little movement , I have used the following holes to slot the shocks and there are know wheels on yet and I am Just wondering if this is normal or have I done something wrong?
  8. yep the battery is around 20c to 30c 5000mah I noticed the connectors on the battery the connectors are HXT4mm , would I be ok to change them to xt60 connectors without a drop in power ?

  14. I was driving my buggy a few weeks back not tried it since but i remember it cut out on my and i lost the cord to the pull start , when i went over i noticed the glow plug had gone it must have shot out of the engine as i remember it was in good not to tight but tight enough , just wondering why it happened and do i just need to get a new glow plug .
  15. also like to point out that the grass was just cut and i noticed alot inside the wheel and all over really not sure if this can cause the engine to work harder .

  19. just wondering if any one knows with the diff in the case i used to washers like it was and there is a little bit of play or side to side movement when holding both ends where the dog bones go on the diff , not sure if this is normal or bad for the gears ?
  20. just got a new diff case so i moved all the bearing .washers out the old one in to a new case now my questions are when installing the spiral input gear do you put it right up to the bearing with know play,, also should they be a little bit of play movement with the diff when holding the diff case ?
  21. yeah but im not sure if the spiral input gear was right back to the bear , im guessing it would be but im not sure
  22. just got a new diff case moved all the bearing and two o ring over the new diff and im just wondering dose the spiral input gear have to be right up against the bearing in side the diff case ?
  23. i took it off to check and as soon as i took the pull start off the cord went back in fast , i gave it some oil and i will see how it goes now .
  24. thanks i took it out but noticed if you have it to tight it catchs on something do you keep the screw flush with the case ?
