  2. Hi. Don't really want to swap but pm me what your thinking mate. The mini 8 will come with rx and tx and I'll get some pictures up tonight when I get home mate Thanks

  5. Hi, just got my new 1/5 losi dbxl, love it! Bashed it the other day and seems fairly robust. Is there any tracks in Kent that I can use? Don't really want to race would just want to have a bit of fun around a track to get used to how it handles etc as I'm just using mine in a disused field that's fairly overgrown Thanks
  6. Hi there, so I'm having a Clearout as iv just got back into the 1/5 scale side of things and need to free up some space. All my cars have very light use as I don't get much time to use them and the time I do get I will running my new 1/5 scale truck so these will just be collecting dust. Be warned there are a lot of pictures and I will also take videos of the RCs before they are sent so you know there working correctly. Hpi sprint 2 (flux) This started life as a sprint 2 drift and now comes with the following upgrades *front 1 way diff -
  7. Hi, not sure if anyone can help. Iv just bought a losi dbxl and I want to run a lipo on it. So using a castle BEC iv managed to use a 2s lipo with the spektrum reciever. I also installed a killer rc super bee fail safe. Now it all powers up but it's glitchy if using both servos at the same time (on the bench using fully throttle to full brake fast and then steering in the same way), and it cuts out for a brief second and the fail safe then kicks in. Can I not run a lipo like this? The lipo is in good condition fully charged and balanced. When looking at the led on the BEC its does briefly flicker as if the servos are draining too much? Iv checked the super bee settings and it's at glitch sensitivity 1 which it says it should be on the manual when using spektrum equipment, and iv checked the lipo cut off voltage that is also correct Thanks for any help
  8. I had a hpi 5b years ago but for what I'm running on it was abit hard to get going (loose gravel and rwd) was fun but I fancy having a go with a 4wd truck now. Don't need it bullet proof as I don't bash that hard but want something I can upgrade easily. The 5ive will be all my budget as I would get a killer bee fail safe before it's run etc where as the desert buggy is abit cheaper so leaves me with some cash for upgrades (exhaust, filter, clutch housing etc)
  9. Hi I'm looking at getting a 1/5 truck. Question is do I get the losi desert buggy xl and have cash spare to upgrade parts needed or do I go straight to the losi 5ive but have to keep it stock for a few months?? Basically my budget is
  10. I have a brand new one aswell, same as above. Pm me if interested Thanks
  11. I'm buying one. These look awesome! Birthday in weeks time, was going to get a poison spider wraith but I want one of these now, least when I break my scx (happens a lot) I have a scale rig to use on the trails
  12. Got my XS RTR Wednesday, love the power of this thing. It's insane on 3s! However iv snapped a driveshaft and twisted/bent the others. Ordered some more and just replaced all four. Is this a weak point on the XS? Iv not yet bashed it was just out in the garden doing some backflips proberly not good for this thing. Should I just stick to 2s in future?
  13. Iv done the same project mate. As above GRPs are very good, Jacos are good aswell but have less grip. I seem to get higher speeds if I run GRPs on the rear and Jacos on the front. Upgrade your drive shafts to the slash HD ones, there plastic but I'm yet to break one. Make sure you have a big enough area to us it, iv rebuilt mine twice now after fairly bad crashes, you run out of room very fast lol I didn't go with the castle combo in the end, I'm using trackstar 2650kv motor and trackstar 150a esc from hobby king. Runs great and have had it at almost 90mph on 4s. Will be going for leopard motor next and running it on 6s hopefully break the 100mph target I'm looking for. People say run a gyro but I used mine once and didn't like it. May have set it up wrong but once you get used to it, you won't need one. Other than that good luck and if you need any help look on YouTube for giostealthr1 or draven3907. Both helped me out a lot when I was doing my project
  14. Running a 2650kv trackstar motor with 150a trackstar esc. Running it in my rustler for speed runs. Will be ordering a 2200kv motor soon as I'm very happy with them. For the money I don't think you can go wrong. I was going for a castle MM and 2200kv combo but this worked out to
