  1. Orders mine on a Sunday night, it came by Friday and no customs charges, well impressed with it and the service it got. There's a company selling in the uk but they want
  2. Personally would get flysky gt3b, got one my self and love it to bits, can get them on eBay for bout
  3. Looks like a plastic pipe and also maybe a prototype as you can see machining marks in it, plus non of the other models using it have been seen with any sort of exhaust. Probs still in development, still excited though lol
  4. Oh also ordered spare rx for flysky - 10 days by snail mail, Ezeun combo - 16 days snail mail Sh28 nitro engine - 7 days snail mail All days are working days ie mon to fri and all from hong kong / china From USA quickest 5 slowest 10, again working days. ( just Incase any one wondered ) Should give you idea of what to expect, All items bought off eBay so you can track dispatch times , some sellers I've heard can take three to four days to just send the thing out the door so bear that in mind also. So far not had any charges from customs, all things came via royal fail at this end. Customs limit was dropped to
  5. I ordered my flysky tx/ rx on a Sunday night and received it the next Friday so 5 days for me lol, free post and pack as well! All for

    SAVAGE

How about getting hold of a savage carb and using that? Surely that would put it in the correct place for the linkage. The one on yours sticks out from the carb before the link part goes vertical as opposed to the savage one which doesn't come away from the carb much at all. Compare the pics and you can see the difference.
  7. Looks usable to me, damn good clean, get rid of every last speck of grease and dirt then rebuild as said by revorocks then you should be good to go. Only takes a tiny particle of dirt to make them feel crunchy.
  8. Yep looks like a savage, looks like a four speed gearbox as well and a twin motor mount plate, that be cool if made
  9. I'd try a new plug as well, my mate had a similar problem and it was the plug, looked ok when used out of the truck but failed when in the truck and under compression
  10. Pull starts not that bad surely, my firestorm is still on the original on after a years abuse, it's never broke and only now sticking due to a gummed up one way bearing.
  11. I had a similar issue with my sh.28 as well, some careful shimming of the clutchbell on the flywheel moved it back enough to fit a standard plastic spur gear, your clutch bell looks really deep as well, try looking for one not so deep. I couldn't move mine back as the pull start was hard up against the rear bulkhead as running 21 tvps. you defiantly need a wider spur to transfer the load better
  12. Where are you? Supposed to have snowed here bu now so far
  13. Biggest problem is getting parts, they cheap enough if you can get them but it's IF you can get them. My mates got a cen mg10 mt, it's not a bad truck but not the strongest either, things you expect to break don't ie body posts are long and thin but don't break and things you think are strong go, my mate ripped the rear shock mounts off, which are part of the rear gear box casing, couldn't get the parts in the uk, had to order from the USA, took two months to come - were cheap though,
  14. Try upping idle speed and a new glow plug, something like an os8
  15. Hope it's good and not to expensive - relativity speaking - even it more expensive than a nitro engine you soon make your money back with the fuel savings involved as petrol is just under
  16. This is something I like, will be making one my self, dunno why but I find it good that the art of building / bodging something together rather than just buying it hasn't died out. Not a fan of the throwaway society we live in these days. I'm impressed guys.
  17. Firestorm is brilliant buy, had mine for over a year, only breakages I've had are the front bulkhead and bent top deck but what do you expect when you go full throttle into a kerb lol, you can't steer when pulling wheelies lol, oh and I've ripped the spoiler of the body sliding it on its lid. I've got a rpm front bumper on mine to help with crashes and need some new back tyres as they completely bald but that's it, good strong truck, Takes an unbelievable amount of abuse and keeps on going. Os8 plug and I use optifuel 20%.
  18. It's been snowing here in stoke on Trent for an hour or too
  19. Have adjusted the links, but not had chance to test, worked late all last week and busy at weekend. Found that servo wasn't pushing the linkage all, the way home so it could slip into neutral. Hopefully get to test tomorrow as on early shift this week, busy tonight though.
  20. +1 on flysky, I've got one it's great. Loads of options for tuning, feels good , easy to uses, tiny receivers which are cheap - can be had for less than a fiver, also receivers are waterproof Great bit of kit for the money
  21. Bring it level or slightly higher than the roof for a better look
  22. Hi again lol, had a look at mine today and found that the linkage wasn't being pushed all the way home, that could be my issue , will have to try it out. if it still plays up I'm pulling it out.
  23. Clutch is centrifugal in operation, when the engine reaches a certain rpm the centrifugal forces throw the clutch shoes outwards which grip onto the inside of the clutch bell.. If your cutting out when braking check the idle screw stops the carb closing completely should be 1mm gap. Or there's about. You can use trim on tx to adjust idle but ensure basic setup ie idle gap right and servos correctly centred etc is right.
