I just clicked. I did the same thing at first. You have rotated the motor the wrong way to mesh. I bet you turned the motor rotating up slacken mount and rotate down. You will prob have to relocate your motor in the mounting plate.

As you may or may not know, I am the current owner of turoks yeti xl. While it a great laugh and slowly getting it the way I want I am struggling with gearing. Currently running 68 / 22 which is still not enough for the 4092 leopard motor. I was hoping to find a spur which would fit the stock slipper set up about 64T. Does anyone know of a spur with a lower count that's just a bolt on. Was wondering if the 1/10 yeti or the Course wore the same spur?

The spur gear slides onto a bearing in the center and the the three Allen bolts pull the spur to the slipper clutch. Where the 3 screws go through the spur and slipper are attached together with a dowel like assembly. To separate the 2, remove the nut and spring and 3 bolts and simpley tease the spur off.

I have a brushed hpi lipo wp esc and a brand new gool motor from memory it's either 21 or 20 t motor. The esc has hxt connector and currently has a external be on the power wires which I can take off. Let me know if any interest.

Decided j got far to many RCS. .. or at least the wife decided. Built this up a couple years ago using a brand new lcg chassis and steering bell cranks. Brand new gearbox fitted, 4x4 rear shafts and brand new bearings all round. RPM front and rear hubs with strc front uprights. RPM front bumper and D8 rear wing and mount. The rx box is not the right one but it's mounted solid. Cheap steering servo but this thing is so light it's plenty up to it. Brand new anaconda wheels and tyres. Currently on 32 dp gearing with an 80a hobbywing esc with a 2600kv 3660 motor. Traxxas aluminium big bores all round. RPM arms all round with rears mounted to front to widen track using the jang mod. RPM front and rear shock towers. No tx or rx included. Available as either a roller for £130 delivered or £180 delivered with esc and motor.

This is gonna sound stupid I expect but what's the difference between trenchers and trencher X ? I am running the trencher x right now but looking to change as they seem a little small on diameter. Looks sweet BTW

try getting a mod 1 spur for a yeti xl though

I had the same issue with my e maxx. That's running 52/32 and I had to get a castle alloy pinny for that as I couldn't find an rw one. but the maxx has a plastic spur so it doesn't matter.

Dat what I've looking for. always used rw. but for the life of me I can't fond any that big.

Hi guys. I am now a proud owner of the beast that is the yeti xl. I have installed a quicrun 150a esc and a hobbywing 4082 1600kv motor. while this thing in its current form is an animal I feel there is more from the motor. Currently geared 68/24. I am upping the gearing to 28 pinion and favour the castle ones...mind you I can't find anyone who makes them bigger. Anyways, the castle ones are either alloy or aluminium construction and my spur is the stock steel variant. Would I be better off with the alloy or aluminium version?

Never an order issue with modelsport, but like you I no longer get emails. I used to get a thank you followed by a packaged email then a shipped email. These days I got nothing. I think they hope we all got crystal balls.

Looked like I somehow ended up with turoks old XL. Seems to still be in near mint condition. Spent last night swapping out the horrendous bellcranks and finding a way to get my 4s 8a zippy bricks to fit. After much faffing I think I got it without moving weight around ridiculously. Might as well fit my asiatees delivery while I am here too.
