  1. Hi guys, Not been on in a while and not really sure i should be doing this but i have finally put my firestorm up for sale on ebay. You'll find the link to the ad in the for sale section and there is lots of info about the car towards the beginning of this thread. Keep up the good work. Nice to see your still at it stretch! and how is The Rat these days?
  2. Well been putting this off for ages and it just aint gettin used so have decided to put my fs for sale on the bay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160992955243 hope it goes to a good home. peace- out Wes
  3. I can confirm Lego Indiana jones and Lego batman are equally awesome .
  4. So just got off the phone with ms and they have said smd are not willing to uphold the warranty! Apparently because I have dismantled the engine and also because the engine has not been maintained! Not really sure how your supposed to maintain an engine that is a month old or how your supposed to find out what's wrong with it without dismantling it ! Not a very happy bunny! Any body got any advice on how to deal with smd? The chap I need to speak to is away till Tuesday so got time to get my case together.
  5. Stretch it's taken from rcuniverse's firestorm thread.
  6. I use oversize thumbscrews which are great for my sausage fingers . I have also seen a large o-ring used over the battery. Two small custom plates in sort of half moon shapes with the edges rolled down held on by the thumbscrews then the o-ring stretched over and hooked onto the plates. Looked good! And a hell of a lot quicker than undoing the thumbscrews every time
  7. That's what my strap looks like when I use my 5200mah 2s turnigy. Usually just bend strap down and screw on thumbscrews not had any issues yet.
  8. Beer tokens are available
  9. Can anybody in manc lend me a blow torch asap. Will pick up and drop off. Fitted some nice laminate on Thursday in the kitchen and had to lift some pipes to fit new skirting and i have loosened one of the joints and it's leaked quite a bit. Have managed to get floor back up and chucked a couple of wet fibre boards. Drained central heating system and cleaned joint up but my soldering iron just ain't cutting it. Probably only need torch for less than ten mins. Plus b & q only shut Easter Sunday and Christmas day. Bloody typical!
  10. Well had a reply from modelsport with regards to the engine and they have currently had to send it off to the supplier for further assistance. So hopefully should hear something in the next couple of weeks. Still hopeful .
  11. I would but getting time away from a young family is gonna be difficult.
  12. Stretch did you use the on the rear or all round?
