Hi all. I have been away from the hobby (and forum) for almost 10 years. Was only supposed to get my old 4wd buggy running but here we are... Just ordered a TRX-4 Sport! Looking forward to a new and slower paced RC experience 😀

After a 2s Lipo in saddle pack form. I have been unable to find stock anywhere in the UK! Back tinkering with RC after a 10 year absence and would like to get my 4wd offroad buggy running again.

Never boiled any parts. Not when spares are so cheap and strongish out the box

Isn't the Hyper 8 shell a bit different? My JConcepts fits pretty tight but I also had to ignore the cut lines. Keith would need to redesign any mould that is taken from the 8 for us 7e boys! I'd buy one or two in heartbeat! -

Good build. I like what you've done with the centre mount. I'm tempted to pick up a new chassis plate and do somthing similar -
My PBS is poor when it comes to steering over the non-PBS chassis. I've got the pivot balls wound out showing about 2mm of thread. Turnbuckles have approx 23mm showing.

I used the ESC holder from an HPI Vorza. And with a dremel I drilled the appropriate holes on the chassis plate.

Just packaged up my Mamba Max to go back to Castle, been out of the game since August. Had started to lose the love for all things RC, lets hope when it comes back I can rekindle the flame!

Down to 89kgs and riding 10 miles a day on average. Bought a new bike and joined a gym. Muscling up nicely!

Great results! I'm in a similar situation, I've cut back on carbs, anything with sugar and have been riding anywhere between 5 and 15 miles a day and in just 8 weeks I've lost nearly 2 stone! I've had to change my lifestyle somewhat but I feel flipping great!
