Depending on how it handles I think you might be right, would look tasty with the Celica body fitted 👍🏻 I own the XT truggy version which has been decent as long as you don’t go too wild so will hold up fine as a rally car, it’s a shame the stock body isn’t something licensed I would of bought one asap.

I own the kit version which has been great, I’ve got big 150mm tyres on mine which makes it pretty much unstoppable. Ive not needed any spares yet but many owners order direct from Gmade online http://shop9.gmade.cafe24.com

Sprayed the wheels black . Interestingly the rear tyres are super soft, like as soft as good crawler tyres whilst the fronts are rock almost like shopping trolley wheels .

Finished the build just waiting on some paint arriving for it now 👍🏻 Really enjoyed this one I’m kinda gutted it’s finished but like they say “all good things must come to an end” , at least I have another 4 days off work 😁

A new kit 👍🏻 Crazy to think it’s been over 30 years since I last built a Kyosho (optima mid) .

Once you get the hang of it and have the car setup just right it’s the best fun you can have with an RC …..well for me it is anyway 🙂

A a few clips from todays run 👍🏻 Couldn’t drive it as hard as I wanted to with the magnetic body mounts but still a decent first test , a set of stock body posts have been ordered.

I taped the edges then stapled the tape for extra ghetto-ness 😁 super glued the Velcro on Pure bodge but it works great, I’ve made one for the RS4 as well 👍🏻
