  1. Taken me a while as I'm disabled. I had most the parts already. So far only cost been the 3D printed wheels which was £25 for all 6! BUT If i had to buy all the bits to start over £200-£250 to get where I am now (cab only). That's inc radio etc most expensive part is the bruder truck to get the cab, which is £70 or more! (cheaper cabs are available) My trailer for the cab is just 2x WPL trailer kits linked together which gives me a scale trailer of 44 Feet! Need sort a photo host so can get more photos up here, the 1.79MB limit is too small, lol Hidden ESC in fuel tank one side of rig and battery will go in other side. Tanks not fitted in photo above but they are now.
  2. I So wanted a tamiya rc tractor unit but they cost so much even used ones! Well I happen to have a Bruder scania cab I was going to fit on a Tamiya CC01 and build a dakar racer. Anyway that chassis took another route so the cab was left in a box. I had a 1/16 JJRC Q60 crawler/trail truck with rubbish toy grade electrics. So i decided to use it as a base for my conversion. It has 3D printed wheels with 12mm offset to match cab width. Has a losi 1/18 mini crawler motor and gearbox with custom drive shafts linked to the JJRC axels as they have open diffs. I have converted it to on road now! Begun building a scale trailer. total cab and trailer is almost 4 feet! Trying to keep it as real looking as I can. Still a work in progress... But here is a before and after a few weeks ago...
  3. Well today fitted the 13T motor. My bodies from my last drifter do not fit as this has longer wheelbase. So decided to use the kit mercedes SLK DTM body. Needs shorter and stiffer shocks for my liking but Will sort that out. Needs new set wheels and tyres too.
  4. Try WPL C14 comes RTR and kit. the RTR can be upgraded with kits parts if he gets a taste for it. they do also do a B1 and another B truck but not as good, but can be had for around £15-20. The electrics are so-so (mine will not die but others have died 1st outing). Kit might be better and they 1/160 so can do indoor courses too! I have 5 1/16 crawlers so far and even turned one into a halftrack. Still stock electrics and still going, it was my first one.
  5. 13T brushless! have a body already do not like the kit bodies. I like old skool, got 2 TL01s. One is trail truck the other stock at min and built one few years ago as a drifter for a friend.
  6. Yes I know these are poor and very basic. I had one before and drifted it, then sold it and wish I didn't. So this one came up a few years ago on ebay NIB just damaged box but car and bodies are fine.
  7. vintage 1998 yes I know they pretty poor. This one is NIB been sat in spare room for a year or more, just box bit squashed but car and bodies ok. Had one before and drifted it! Thinking of doing it again but with home made adjustable arms this time and bearings throughout. Will put together a build thread in the drift section when I start it.
  8. its white after my old real clio.... not really a planned shell but it all fell together as bits can along and this is the result
  9. Thats one evil off roader! looks great! great work there!
  10. on ebay its the re-release shell for the ff03 chassis. hence u will notice the front arches are cut wider to fit my 1:10 drift chassis
  11. Great shots! i wanna go play there too!
  12. I like it but thing is it needs a 190 chassis coz on my 200 the wheels stick out
  13. It was easy compared to the S15, was a real pleasure to piant it. only got one run, which is not visable anyway
