I am building an lcg slash and I am going to make a roll cage for It as I don't want to spend money on bodies all the time as I always manage to destroy them in a week or two. I want to know whether I should use Nylon 6 or Derlin rod for the cage. To make the cage I am going to use a heat gun to bend the plastic into shape any tips or help would be much appreciated.

Hey Guys Im going to bring back my e firestorm the crazy one which I ran on 4s, I have hardened the transmission gears and Im doing my 32 pitch spur and pinion mod. I still plan to run it on 4s as I can not resist thee immense power, this time I will hopefully gets some videos up . Bring on the thunder!

from what I have seen the hypers are tough but they do need some upgrades but i would not say they are better though.

3s (11.1v) will be fine it all depends on the way you gear it if you run it on the stock brushed gearing set up you should do fine and will be able to do some wheelies with the blitz. I had a 60a ezrun system in my e firestorm before I put in my Orion vortex 8 system and ran it on 4s (that was crazy). About the fan it should be fine but if it over heats it would be best to change it but those fans do tend to break easily as i have had three ezrun systems and all the fans broke but the esc's still work. I just replaced mine with this from maplins when it broke http://www.maplin.co...ling-fan-105029 it is about 5mm too big but it does the job just like any other 25mm x 25mm fan would.

oh I just realised then his choice of motor would be about right a lower kv motor because of the higher rotational mass of the truggy wheels for longer runtimes on 6s.

I don't know about the motor kv your choosing as it seems a bit low for a buggy tbh but I would choose 2200kv and run on 6s which will make your buggy wheelie.

+1 on that one it is nearly the same as the mt4 g3 which is tough as bricks and it is suitable to run on 6s but I own a inferno ve and the esc just died on me but it is still a great car.

warm is fine but if they get too hot they can melt or de solder themselves. You will need some sort of temp gauge to test that as you can not feel temperature properly with your fingers when it goes above a certain temperature. If it is warm then no need to worry.

The Sc version is a savage flux underneath with extended tvps giving it 4wd and making it lighter than a baja.
