  1. My new r/c, A fairly rare Kyosho Mini Inferno ST09 1/16th nitro! Its tiny!
  2. Love the sound of the twin engines running in tandem!
  3. Not received it yet, think ive managed to find the last brand new in box one out there! Ordered the only mini bump box I could find from the US and will just need a couple of decent mini servos and away I go!
  4. I know savox are really good and have one in my 1/8 electric buggy doing the steering of course but have just ordered a new nitro 1/16th and it take mini servos so im wondering which to use for steering and throttle/break? The alturn one look pretty good value for money on msuk? And should I spend more on the steering servo versus the throttle/break one?
  5. Can anyone give me a rough idea what a used LST XXL is worth? Only run a handful of times, not scratches to chassis or body looks brand new in original box with all manuals, roto start ect, no radio gear but all servos / receiver pack???
  6. where did you see one for sale? cant find any for sale anywhere except from us can get them for about £35 with postage /edit - never mind ive bought the last one known to man from a hobby shop in the states £32 inc postage didn't seem too bad
  7. As per title looking for a mini starter box
  8. Ok so after baja5bmad mentioned that Kysho did a mini i did a search and one came up as for sale on an eBay auction so I sniped it at the last second! It's a Kysho mini inferno half 8 st09 stadium truck. Just need some mini servos and a mini starter box for it now
  9. Im going to head down to Weybridge about 1ish and give my D8 a spin if weather holds out
  10. So ive been away from r/c for years now. Still currectly have a LOSI LST XXL and a brushless D8 buggy but decided to buy something a bit smaller that doesn't req so much space to run, im now the owner of a (i think quite rare) Kysho mini inferno st 09 nitro stadium truck Questions I have - best value for money metal gear mini servos? And does anyone know where I can get a mini starter box from!? no where seems to sell them. Found one on ebay in the US but would rather buy it here if possible.

  12. Cheers guys looking more like I might get something, maybe sell my Losi LST XXL as its too big to use anywhere local to me and a bit unwieldy to cart around not to mention fuel consumption! One thing I cant find is 1/16 1/18 starter boxes?
  13. Don't know if my thinking is correct here but a small nitro engine like this one has should be more quiet than bigger one? Bigger combustion=more noise?
  14. Found this on hobbyking - http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__73721__Turnigy_1_16_4wd_Nitro_T_Truggy_w_07_Engine_ARR_UK_Warehouse_.html doesn't look bad for £80! Think its based on a nitrotek car and I know they never used to get good reviews but seems cheap enough to try out? Would prefer a self assembly kit though.
  15. I might be getting back into r/c again having not used either of my cars in years but hung onto them anyway. I'm quite interested in the small 1/16, 1/18 nitro cars as their easy to transport and you can muck around with them in the garden too. The only ones ive heard of are the Xray NT18T and the Schumacher rascal. Like the idea of the xray as it comes as a kit (although finding them is tricky). Are there any others to consider?
  16. Is anyone going this Sunday? Ive been away from r/c for quite a while and have two awesome cars that have been sitting collecting dust that need the cobwebs blown off!
  17. nah if I get a large scale it would be mainly because its petrol, think brushless in 1/5 is pointless and the electric systems requirements to high and expensive. Just thought it would be nicer If it sounded a bit more car like and less hedge trimmer like...
  18. Yeah makes sense I guess, just considering options as I would like a 5th scale at some point but want as quiet as possible
  19. Are there any 4 stroke engines that can be fitted to 1/5 scale cars? I'm thinking from a noise and smoother running point of view...
  20. I never did in the end. Can't see anywhere I could or would park my car round there shame as it looks a good spot.
  21. http://www.modelsport.co.uk/hobao-new-hyper-7-body-decals/rc-car-products/368564 ?
  22. Don't put it on the tread though or you will have no grip whatsoever!
  23. I think their both the F4.6 later ones had grey head though Ah corrected as above
