  1. lol, got a bit spare at the moment as breaking my 1:1 car for parts, so spending a bit of next car money on the Baja. Also got a pair of uber bumpers on the way. Was tempted with a 990 carb and shiny insulator block. May get some TR shock towers too. Lots of pics when things start arriving.
  2. Well been short on time for several months and haven't touched the baja. But with a new job and some spare cash I decided to give it a treat, especially after firing up sooooo easily yesterday I fell in love again! Just done a fairly large DDM order containing... TGN Carbon brake disc (just because it was on sale!) Dark Soul spring perches (1 of mine has gone walkies) Ramtech Heavy-Duty Rear Shock Springs FLM Super Duty Stock Length Driveshaft & Cup Kit DDM Stainless Steel Beadlock Bolts (Set of 84) Vertigo Vented Steel Clutch Bell High Response Clutch Shoe & Spring Set And then a replacement pin kit for the FLM shafts just incase, shock repair kit and lots of various seals to maintain the diff when I crack it open for the new cups, some 40wt oil for the shocks and 30kwt oil for the diff. Can't wait to get playing again, may do some bidding on ebay tonight too!
  3. Ok No worries Drifta, I'll wait for your reply Jack if you find a tenner somewhere.
  4. Nice one, I can always drop it round if you can't get to me easily. I'll drop him a PM if you don't want it. Cheers.
  5. As the title, I have half a 5 litre bottle left of OptiFuel 25% RTR, these are about 25-28 for a full bottle so figured a nice crisp tenner would cover the bill. Collection, local delivery or I can meet a little further a field. I'm at Old Heath in Colchester.
  6. lol, doesn't matter any more, all sorted :-D
  7. Hmmm think thats a dead end, just checked my google web history and it asked me to turn the feature on and of course no history!
  8. Yes my gmail account is constantly logged in. I know ironic hey!
  9. So a while ago I did bad things looking at a girl myself and the wife know naked on a certain website. Problem is I haven't looked at those pictures for several months (since we have been married) but she won't believe me. Obviously I was using the incognito mode to not be found out but now I need specific dates of when I visited the particular pages. So is there a way I can go to the website and find out when I last visited it?
  10. Love the front end, looks mean! I hear ya on the white with black bits, I had a mk3 golf with black headlights, tinted fogs and indicators. current car is black mk4 with white bits!
  11. Skoda is certainly a good choice and a cambelt on that engine should be in the
  12. I originally subscribed because I was buying my first back in the hobby model from Modelsport, they there cheaper than anywhere else, had stock at the time and offered this amazing discount. I had earnt my subscriber fee back in my first purchase which then went towards some upgrades soon after. It's always nice when you haven't spent anything much for a while, but you then do an order and wahey! got a fiver to take off the bill. I would love to win a prize but not bothered if I don't. I may not subscribe next year as I'm not spending that much on new parts anymore, just buying 2nd hand baja bits as and when I can.
  13. Thankfully I've not had to use the trains for years but when I did I was able to avoid trouble for not having a ticket most the time as my local station is basically a platform, machines always vandalised so buying a ticket on the train was the norm and wasn't given any bother. Having recently researched train fairs for the other half they seem so expensive.
  14. Looking good. I regularly spot a couple of really nice ones in Colchester, slammed and have some nice dish on the wheels.
  15. Agreed would be sooooo much better in a proper mini.
  16. Exactly what I was thinking. If your even considering opening a shop and pouring a lot of money into it you should at least know the wholesalers available and have the business sense to contact makers and distributors. Best way to gain experience in a business model you want to run is to work in the industry for a while. For example I have worked in the fish/reptile industry for several years, I have dabbled at an online business with a mate for a year or so and have all the contacts and supplier names should I find some dosh to do it for myself.
  17. I bought a 2nd hand baja earlier this year it was a HPI SS. I spent around
  18. Blimey Mark, you don't do things by half! Looking very tasty already.
  19. Nothing. Haven't used it for the months and really need to get round to starting her up again and servicing the shocks.
  20. I'm afraid DPD do suck. At work we send a couple hundred parcels a day and the boss tried them as they were slightly cheaper than Parcel Force but after a few months of numerous returns damaged beyond belief we changed back to Parcel Force. The workers of any courier company are only as good as the discipline that is used on them. Clearly the bosses of DPD are too easy going. I myself have jumped into a DPD van to rearrange the parcels so he could fit them all in, the bloke was a complete muppet. I last used wheelspin several years ago when I left them on good experience but not tried them since I have come back to the hobby.
  21. I have heard that about HID kits which does worry me a little as I have kits in my projector lens head lights. Joey mod is a must, I did mine a long time ago with some white detailing (black car) Not seen the LED cluster bulbs before though, might look into them. Chrome indicator bulbs are always a must and nice and a bright compared to the amber bulbs.
  22. Still for sale, the winning bidder pulled out this morning...grrrrr! I'm not doing giving a 2nd chance offer as the next bid was too low.
