  1. i remember when futaba was pretty decent stuff , long long time ago tho lol come to think of it still got some 25 year old futaba stuff in my mt2 18ss nitro car and works great
  2. i was using the fasttrax 1 and it worked fine on the old 27mhz but when i upgraded to the speky dx3 it made the throttle servo twitch and just wouldnt work , just as well the speky has a built in failsafe my son had a similar prob on his car when he upgraded to 2.4ghz as well
  3. you are pressing the set button on the failsafe ?
  4. youve got the hsn 3 turns out ? maybe you need to start turning it in in 1/8 turn increments see if that helps
  5. honestly dont know mate sorry
  6. theres a bit of a gap in that bottom bearing where the pin protrudes thru the con rod that might acct for the wear in the other bit , the worn away material is probably still in the engine tho
  7. wow they look the part there and no other extra bits to buy either cool
  8. plus the question you asked could have helped other folks as well
  9. its been raining on and off here all day so far , wish i had bit bullet and gone lol glad you had fun mate , bloody weather

  12. one way bearing ? if the pull starter isnt turning engine over then i would suspect the owb
  13. have you tried taking the plug out and putting some ful directly into engine then using the pullstart with the plug out ? pull it over a few times like that to loosen it off a tad fore putting plug back in
  14. have you changed the glow plug ? a brand new 1 not 1 out the tool box

  16. oops never noticed that , glad someones paying attention
  17. well the hpi is a good car but a tad overpriced compared to others , have fun with it tho
  18. yep thats usually it the low speed needle should have a factory setting as well tho and you need to set that as well
  19. that would be cool mate really want to try out the ishima up there
  20. thats hard to answer as every engines diferant even 2 engines same make and model will tune slightly diferant
  21. you adjust the high speed needle 1st and should notice an improvement in performance keep adjusting it in 1/8 turns till either theres little smoke coming from exhaust or theres a reduction in performance then knock it back an 1/8 turn then you do the low speed needle same way but your looking for a smooth throttle responce as well , just make sure theres smoke coming from exhaust at all times whilst adjusting both needles
  22. that 1 that dave is selling in the link above is a damm good price Kilted if you went for that we would be interested in your dbx as a roller for spares
  23. well folks we gonna pick a date and venue as either mentioned is cool with me
