what about the hpi trophy 4.6 or the hyper st truggy (has a .28 engine ) both similar specs and similar price and both are seriously fast

on some of the cars its a major problem , some seem to be more affected than others tho cool vids mate and yep flying stones is a hazard in that part of quarry mind you theres not as many there now as there was lol weve managed to get some of the stealth rocks out as well we need to try a race with the marder and trophy tho

by way guys i got a new toy yesterday got a trophy 4.6 lol got it run in last night by god its freaking fast tho unfortunately i broke it tonight , hit a rock up quarry , had it spooled up and was flat out when i noticed it was drifting slightly towards the big rocks so panicked and braked so it slid right into rocks , smashed lower arm , uper suspension mount , broke the thread off the end of universal drive shaft where the wheel ataches and the anti roll bar attachement on lower arm 75 quid to repair lol maybe shouldnt have panicked it might have missed it lol ohh its fast seriously fast prob faster than the ishima's

cant comment on revos as never owned 1 but the sledgey pops more than the occaisional wheely and is a fast truck (.5" 8.2 cc engine comes with reverse gear as standard ) let us know what you decide on

more expensive to buy and replace but do last a lot longer and as said above you dont lose em if you break an arm or something comes loose

i use long nosed pliers works great for me

the shimms are the washers , spacers that go in the cylinder head but if youve not had the head off then that isnt your problem

ive got a savage a trophy 4.6 and the s50 sledgehammer out of those 3 i would recomend the sledgehammer then the trophy , dont get me wrong savages are great and built like brick ****houses but the sledgey is a lot easier to work on and parts are a lot cheaper

have you had the head off before this problem started ? if so did you put the shimms back in ? wondering if the pistons striking the bottom of glow plug ?
