  1. Sanwa M12 40th anniversary, #416 of 500 handsets. Piano black, bought late last year and used about once a month since. Usual marks but other than that is a very tidy up market handset. Comes with LIPO battery. http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f129/Josh_Hardwick/12923119_1714218418860894_1317515958510043237_n_zpsi9ekp4um.jpg[/IMG] http://i46.photobucket.com/albums/f129/Josh_Hardwick/12143236_1714218448860891_7158654975317132327_n_zps7yvihbrh.jpg[/IMG] 175 ONO.
  2. Today I have up for sale my speed passion electronics. All of this was purchased just over a week ago apart from one of the motors. I can give a receipt to any buyer if needed. The only reason these are up for sale is because I would like a little break from RC and I will be changing electronics brand. First up is a V4 Speed Passion 6.5 Motor - (Bought a week ago for 62.99)
  3. Matt has been running his micro for ages rich, he is in the lead by about a million points by now lol,
  4. Going really good thanks, Ill post some pictures later of the new layout. Psstt.... Still sitting 1st overall;) Psstt...

  6. Tonight went well apart from coming Q2 to my dad, qualified for the A and took the win by 1+ laps, so now the championship has started and I'm sitting at the top!! :-D also won the final with a bent shock shaft:) Track changes:
  7. Not really, as the carpet isnt the same as the indoor, so as the temp dropped, it turned into a ice rink for cars... I think Matt may be doing something with it though as he has ordered more carpet (blue stuff i think) so will have to ask him in a minute. Racing soon!;-)
  8. Yeah, I prefer racing indoors. (By the way the outdoor section of the track is no longer in use)
  9. Track: Chilling on the tabletop before the loop:
  10. Tomorrow night at SWIRC (South West Indoor RC), was working and testing down the track for a week or so and it all looks sweet now.
  11. Jon @ RCS Graphic Worx paints all my shells, and thanks :-)
  12. Yeah was pretty funny to watch, got a good few quotes from Jimmy that weekend :-)
  13. Yeah, cant wait to get my Re-Re ready:) might even enter that in the series next year if we do it again.
  14. Yeah was great fun, qualifying was a little slow for me as the car couldnt handle the track being damp. Battery wires kept coming unsoldered for me (loose connection heating it up). Hopefully will do it again next year or do the Invernational.
  15. Thanks guys, didn't do too well myself at stotfold, only ended up finishing one of three finals and won the one i completed by a second or so. Got a quick snap of the KR shell, recieved it today, few changes with the design, trying more chrome. -Josh
  16. (If you dont like anything tenth scale look away now!) Well seeing as I haven't been very active on this forum for over a year I thought I would make a thread. I decided the thread would be to show off my buggies and show you every detail from changing screws to 'laying down some laps'. Currently I have only been focusing on racing at one track; SWIRC, although I do race at alot of other venues across the UK, from Torbay to RHR. I have just finished competing in the oOple offroad open series, I managed to place 34/153. Which in my opinion isn't too bad for a 15 year old kid. I Drive for Number 5 RC, and a bit of RCS on the side. I Race a Schumacher Cougar KF which has all its details and pictures below: Low Grip Conversion, 76T Slipper Spur, V2 Upper Alloy Rear Tranny Housing. I run a Speedpassion 8.5 Revention R with reedy shorty lipo's, Savox 1257 (I think) with my trusty DX4R Pro. My second and third car are still in progress, so you will see the build in this thread. One is a Cougar KR from Schumacher and another is a Team Associated RC10 Classic Re-Release. I Plan to run a SP 8.5 in the KR and a Turnigy Trackstar 4000kv in the RC10. The KR is mainly for when it gets too wet for the KF low grip and the RC10 is for our new 'Vintage' class we are running down at SWIRC. Matching shells all round for the KF&KR and a Retro job is about to be done on my RC10. (No pictures of the KR yet)... Will update on thursday night during/after racing at SWIRC. KR and RC10 will be built soon but I will update you step by step. Go check out RCS and N5RC in my sig below! -Josh
  17. Hey guys, Yeah ive been practicing with the worn mini pins, probably actually had 20+ runs on them. (Testing here and winning some finals at RHR@notters) Your best bet is them on the rears (yellow schui mini pins, standard insert) and Schui cut stagger or stagger ribs in the front with no insert. Got to test tyres for the rc10 class but I think because its so limited, we will have to wait a while before we make any decisions on control tires. Matt may I remind you who was second to Mark...., it was extremely unfortunate.... I clealy blame the lack of sleep LOL....Not that im getting much for tonight. RC10 is on its way, Need To fix my KF's diff again, Build The KR & RC10 and then I can chill! Hope to see you all tonight then, should be even closer racing, even though I have put 100+ more laps in than you guys.... I need the advantage! Seeya. -Josh
  18. Foams will be fine, if we stick to either foams, mini pins or any other carpet targeted tire, That will be okay. Oh and Matt is in Watford or somewhere near london at the moment so he may not be around, some photos are on the facebook page or on my facebook. -Josh
  19. Hey guys, we really want to encourage the use of the Schumacher Mini Pin and cut stagger/stagger rib and hopefully bring it in as a control tire (apart from vintage etc), its a very good all round tire and will last quite a few meetings here as I have found mine to be very low on the wear after say 17-20 runs on them (runs from 4-13 minutes). If you do not have them, dont worry it isnt a problem, you can just run what you want, but if you want the best traction etc etc its your best bet, Anyway; on to what im posting for. - SWIRC Open Evening Race Report'thingy'ish - Overall it was a great night and I have to say thanks to Matt Latham and his family for all the work, Nimrif (That's now your real name) for the timing gear and everyone who helped out and participated in this open evening for South West Indoor RC. Results For A Final: 1st - Mark Field (Schumacher KF) 2nd - Josh Hardwick (Schumacher KF) 3rd - Nathan Field (Yokomo...?) (Think I got that right) It was good to see the only KF's at the top, With the only Yokomo coming 3rd. Hopefully a lot more KFs will turn up next week (COUGH Matt COUGH) Also I would like to thank Number 5 RC for keeping me up and running, etc etc.... also a thanks to That painter guy.... (Jon Miller @ RCS Graphic Worx) cheers for always keeping the car looking good and consistently keeping the colour scheme looking sweet, everyone go and check these guys out for amazing deals, RCS for anything printing and Painting, Number 5 RC for anything model car related (And Painting But I'm Not Allowed To Mention That... oops!) (clearly not plug'ing' them into the post here.... So thanks for a great open evening and I hope to see a lot more people sending their car and throwing some gnarly shapes at South West Indoor RC next Thursday at 7pm. -Josh
  20. Yellow Mini Pins on the rear with standard inserts and Yellow Cutstaggers on the front with no insert. I dont see foams being a problem, I spoke to Matt down the track today and he said it shouldnt be a problem. Ive been testing on this track since sunday, every night (bar wednesday) and it has come on leaps and bounds. Me, Jonathan May, Matt and his Dad all went down tonight and completely changed most of the layout. It has nice fast flowing corners with small bumps and slippery sections. The wall ride has been made a LOAD bigger and is really nice to drive. We have moved the table top so it is used as a corner, and if you are dedicated, taking that as a corner jump works perfectly. Track is averaging at 13ish seconds a lap. Cant wait for tonight (I suppose its tonight seeing as its 1:30...) Anything you bring will have track time. Micros will be very welcome as if you look on the facebook page, I was out ran by a micro..... Anyway I hope to see some of you there and if you dont know who I am, I am the kid with Josh Hardwick on the back of his blue tee. -Josh
  21. Hmmm..... MbModels Must Be One Of The Cheapest Then, Hopefully MS Does Their Price Match!?
  22. Anyone Know A Price On These Beauty's? EDIT: MB Have The Pre-Order Price Set At
  23. 22 Shell Looks Sexy. Where as the 8ight shell... No.
  24. 2 weeks and 5 days until I can pick up the new kit !!! :D

  25. Well, there is never really a 'best', it just depends on your driving style and the make of car that you feel comfortable with. As with my few years of driving, I wouldn't go near some brands. I see you had the same move as me, starting up 1/10 racing again with a 22. I am also transferring to a new model. Overall I would see what car is used quite a bit at your local, and maybe get a similar car. At my local track I'm seeing alot of Kyosho RB6's (
