  1. iv just put a new carb on mine with factory settings and its running great i feel no need to tune it!went out bashing yesterday and it held its own against the 4 other hypers, a 21 3 port, 21 4 port,mac28 and a go 21,
  2. broke my suspention mount on my rear diff after a 15ft jump on a skate park, thankfully some one had a spare one, a quick strip down and back bashing within 20min!

  4. awesome thread and love the shell if id have know id have gone in with you guys too!carnt wait to see it done! the savage exhaust you could always cut one pipe off and have it welded up thus creating more back pressure! i think any way
  5. cheers I think 'im going to go 7 in the front and 3 at the rear! but i'm torn with what to go for in the centre! what differences will i see between 5 and 10? will 10 put the power down soother with not much wheel spin?
  6. Thanks guys, I see you both have simler set up apart from your Center diffs is there a massive difference in running 5 or 10 in the middle? I'm looking at getting its all set up properly make sure everything is straight and even! Also is anyone running a front anti roll bar(sway bar) I notice mine doesn't have one, I have one spare im going to put on at some point! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Ok been out tonight with my hyper 7 and the when turning a corner the front end just wasn't interested and I carried on in a straight line! Now I think Iv got to much power going to the front and I read somewhere that changing the diff oils can help, everything on the car is standard as came out of the box,all I do is go bashing at park and the odd carpark every now and again! I would like a little more power to the rear to get the back end out abit! So what's your advice on diffs and there oils! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Hi guys as some of you will know Iv got a hyper mini st with a hyper .12 engine. A few weeks ago I lost the fuel supply nozzle (the brass one on the side of the carb your not ment to touch) anyway I got a new one and put it so it was flush. I got the car running but it so flat and un responsive,(open the throttles and it was just going at the same speed and just didnt want to rev) when I pull the trigger it just pulls away slowly, then plods about! Tried for an hr yesterday to sort it out then decided to resort to factory settings and it's still the same! Tried leaning it right out as it was very thirsty!   10. cheers for that, i just go out bashing, im not sure off any racing clubs near me (hull) i got all exited about getting the mach 28, then when people were say saying it a pain to tune and a 21 is as quick, i started having doubts about using it!
  11. so i got a mach 28 with the hyper 7 i got,(the hyper has a 3 port 21 in it) all iv heard it bad things about them like there a pain to tune, there as quick as a 21, now heres my problem!iv got 5 of my mates begging me to sell it,with me been new to nitro i guess this engine will be to much hard work for me, my original plan was to put the mach 28 in my hyper mini st so im not sure what to do! whats your opinions on the mach 28? should i sell and get a 21 4port? kind regards rich
  12. iv been looking into this,although not in huge depth,i noticed moveing the spoiler to its highest position and my hyper 7 made it more stable and getting the mid range power down was easier as i didnt spin the wheels as much!
  13. iv been thinking on doing this! i hoping to borrow some wheels off a mates savage see what they look like!the only thing im worried about is the diffs! i might even get some spare diffs to see how long it takes me to destroy mine lol

  16. iv got a jp1 pipe on my hyper7 iv just got,it a 21 3port engine will this make much differance to mine? whats the difference between jp1,jp2, jp3 pipes anyway?

  18. Cheers for that, that looks totally different to the one on my mini st, I'll try a picture up of it! It did originally fit in my receiver box until it died.
  19. I'm look to get some rechargeable receiver battery packs for my hyper 7 and my mini hyper st, I'm a bit confused as to what volt I need for each, the pack I got with my hyper mini st looks like its 6 triple a battery's stuck together, Anyone have any ideas

  23. dont throw that into it! im confused enough! why will it throw the gearing out? im not looking for stance,im looking for pure grip as theres about 5 or 6 hypers that go out and you can see them all scrambling for grip,theres a big argument whos is the fastest so i thought if i have grip on my side im on my way to a winner lol
