Yes mate please do I'm totally new to boat! At tho moment I'm trying to get the cabin built and sorted to see what goes we're and what's missing here's what I'm upto so far

So here's my 1st boat that's been given to me it's wooden and the hull looks ok but not tested it yet, most of the cabin is there and an old engine. Iv never really wanted a boat or been interested in them but seen as it was free and I like tinkering I thought I'd try bring it back to life! So here it is So what you all think? My plans are to build the cabin, reprint the underneath red, side black, varnish the deck and white cabin. Then I'll have to decide on if it's going lecy or nitro and find out how the gear works together

Lol well Iv got a couple of local guys wanting to try get the engine running lol,I'm not sure if I'm going to paint yet or to see how the old stuff comes up! That looks very much the same, so how do these engines work? Dose any one have any good links i can read on building/restoring a boat as I'm totally new to marine and it looks quite different to rc cars!

Time has come for a good service on my hyper7 I'm just wondering what shock oil to use to stop sag in the shocks and would using different weights in the front or rear make a difference? I only use the car bashing on park and a few jumps as well as a few car parks. Any help tips or advice would be very great full

i had 30mm of spacers in the rear and 26 in front that made it a high ride hight!only did because the grass was long,seemed ok

there are about 15 hyper 7 owners who i go bashing with, great car on the plus side theres a local guys sells spares dirt cheep! break it, go see on the way home, fix it and bash again the next day win win for me

Well I went to put my shell on to go out a bash and guess what the shell doesn't fit your there is a gap for it to go through! But it does my head in trying to get it through there so I'm just going to trim my shell!

I'd think about making the more soild between each shock tower to prevent flex! They may be thicker but with that much cut away I think it may still flex a little

The front is the same but the rear is thinker than the standard hyper one! It's the same thickness as the front

fitted ansmann virus front and rear shock towers to the hyper and swaped the mac 28 for a force 21 in the hyper mini st

got the front and rear virus ones on! went straight on barring a little filing pics to follow

after lineing them up against each other they are very very simler, there are only a few holes that are a few mm out ill get some pics up later to show you, but the ansmann ones are about 1-2 mm thicker than the standard hyper ones

looks like a nice shock tower iv just got 2 ansmann virus ones that im going to stick together to try out!

iv got 5 hyper 7 black, hyper mini st tamiya tt01, losi micro t and an unknown 1:8th given to me! im after a 1:5th petrol lossi 5ive or a baja and a mardave v12
