  1. Well in those days, I had a hornet and loved it, probably buy it again for nostalgic purposes.
  2. You're going to need it anyway when Boris sells the NHS to US pharma! Might as well get ahead of the curve 😜
  3. My daily driver! As part of a solar powered car subscription service I have use of a little Tesla Model 3, but, I use it infrequently. I'll grab a pic some time.
  4. I have a hyperion charger eos 0606i, I think you're right, I think it's max 50W Long charge times are OK though, I'm OK with that.
  5. In the netherlands, you know use a trailor when you are carrying a sofa, to be honest, even then, people carry sofa's without a trailor, I am just a soft Englishman.
  6. Nah, I don't overdo it, just cautious, I'm the same with my vape, I charge my batteries in a decent quality charger, replace them regularly and keep it close by at all times. I may not have a garage, but, I have windows
  7. I live in Holland/Netherlands (as you may already know) and since I am a conscientious global citizen, I don't have a car, only a bike. I am thinking what would be the best way to carry my rig to where I am bashing, of course, strapping it to the back of my bike is an option, but, I'd love to see if anyone here has good solutions for dragging their gear to where they play without a car. Modified backpacks, modified bikes, trollies etc. My situation will be a Kraton 4S, a few tools and my radio gear, so, nothing too much, all on the back of one of these:
  8. I am glad I asked the question, I think I will do the ammo can, at least in the interim, the bags look worthless! I am also thinking where I should charge, maybe if I get decent length cables, I can put the can outside and my hyperion inside the door, thus reducing chance of lithium fumes inside. I don't have a garage unfortunately, that would be ideal. The BatSafe is out of stock in all places in NL too. I have long considered having an ammo box for my electronics that I charge next to my bed too, since I hear of horror stories from my mate who is a fireman. Ecig and Phones in an ammo box Easy solution.
  9. I am about to purchase a new Arrma 4s, but, I am trying to think what the best decision is on batteries. Obvious choices are: Run at 4S with 2 2S batteries (something like a Gen Ace 2S) Run at 3S with single battery Run at 4S with 1 4S battery. What is everyone else doing/what is suggested? nutnut
  10. I have not used Lipo batteries, I am in the market for a couple of 2S Lipos though and as such I am thinking about lipo safety. I have a 50 cal ammo can sitting around at home unused that I can modify fairly easily for charging Lipos, I was thinking of drilling a hole for the wires and a few small holes to vent in case of issues. Having looked at this online, there are mixed feelings on if this is a good idea, I wanted to see what the forum thought of this. Is it a good idea? What should I take into account? Will probably do something like this - Link to Arrma Forum post Other option is to just spring for a Lipo bag, but, since I have an unused ammo can in the house, this seemed like I could save a few quid
  11. I soldered the deans plug back on, so, just leaving the tyres requiring glue, if someone wants it, I can glue the tyres if needs be, but, I expect whomever gets it to want to weight the wheels, clearly this is easier inside the tyres. Tyre weights included. It's a steal at 150 quid!
  12. I am looking for a 4S size, 6S is a little big for my needs I think. But, for sure I am open to both new and used. I do like new RC though, it's nice to have something clean for once
  13. I know what you mean about preferring a kit, this is my dilemma for my next purchase, I love the look of the Arrma Kraton, but, would prefer to build myself (then I know there is thread lock everywhere, how it works when I break it and I just enjoy the build process). I was thinking of buying an rtr and taking it apart fully, then, putting it back together again. Sounds daft, but, means I get to play and also have the car I am after.
  14. @CattoCattoExo I wouldn't kkow anything about that! 😜
  15. Someone take a bite out your worktop there Cat?
  16. BUMP - Price drop, I priced in Euros not pounds, should be 200 Euros, which is 155 GBP. Postage will be around 25 pounds.
  17. Tower Pro Servo and bottom left ESC sold. Wheels sold Still loads of other things.
  18. I have a Thunder Tiger Sparrowhawk, setup with 1:1.5 ratio CS and comes with brushless setup and spekky receiver. go check out for sales, see if this is any good fo you and drop me a PM if you like. Also, on my spares thread, I have 3 sets of drift wheels, if that's also useful
  19. The ESC is an MTRONIKS Viper RV15, it's fairly old, probably came out of something I no longer had.... If you want that, I can give you that and the tower pro for a tenner+ shipping? PM me if you're interested. nutnut
  20. 4 ESCs, 3 Servos, 4 AM Receivers, 3 sets of drift wheels and a discharger for NIMH/NICD batteries. All items 5 GBP each, two of the ESCs are brand new boat waterproof esc's, never used. Will be posting from Netherlands, so postage will be charged, will check costs before you commit, but, I think it's cheaper than UK postage to be honest, so around 5 pound. nutnut
  21. Originally this was a Sprint 2 Sport, then I added a Brushless kit and used it mainly for drifting. However, upon testing, I cannot get anything out of the motor, ESC fan spins, but, nothing from the motor at all, so, I cannot guarantee the electronics, therefore, I priced it as a roller. Comes with 2 lids (Subaru Impreza original lid and Manga themed Skyline lid with light kit) HPI Stock Servo Drift wheels Some spares (belts and such) Happy to accept 50 GBP on this, just want it cleared. Will post from Netherlands, so, the postage may be around 20.
