Sweet thanks. Really can’t make my mind if about buying one of these. Had an et38.3 and that was pretty cool. The boy has got a maxx (technically mine but you know, kids!) so I’m after something so I’m not just standing waiting for my turn at the skate park or bmx track. Fancy a buggy cause I fancy some racing but not much cop for the skate park. I don’t mind the idea of another maxx either as the one we have has been amazing. Or one of these. I’m kind of at the point where I need someone to make my mind up for me. Lol

I’ve had my maxx since they day they landed in uk shops and with the exception of the really **** fans on the motor and esc it’s been bombproof. It’s been used in concrete and wooden skateparks and huncote bmx track where it’s nose dived, flipped, cartwheeled, bounced and crashed as well as landed perfectly and it’s still going strong (apart from the fans. They broke ages ago). I’ve not needed to upgrade it at all. I’ve not replaced anything. Three to four packs twice a week at least, every week since I bought it. I’m going to fit a wide max kit because it does roll over a little too easy but it’s not bothered me so far. I’m mainly doing it because I like the coloured arms so might as well fit the wide ones. just my 2p worth.

Arrma is also Logic Rc. Which is almost certainly why they’re not going to be traxxas any more.

Apparently Logic won’t be the importer/distributor as of the end of January. Wonder who’s taking that on?!

I’m no Facebook fan but I really don’t have the issues with it that a lot of people seem to. There are morons on there but there’s been a few on here. If I have a question I find I can get way more answers on Facebook and usually a lot quicker than asking the same question on a forum. It seems to show the active scene far better than forums do these days. Be that for just about any of my hobbies. take the monster truck forum on here for example. The last post was 5 days ago. If you were new to the forum or just looking to join, that does not make you think ‘yeah this is a thriving place to hang out and chat with like minded people!’ Forums don’t run themselves. There’s costs involved and maintenance and this means ads etc for most. This also makes running them a bit of a chore when you’re watching your hit rate fall day by day because of the popularity of free platform such as Instagram and Facebook. When a lot of people are already on Facebook anyway it makes sense. Like it or not I think they call it progress. And like it or not it’s happening everywhere. The days of forums are numbered. You’ve only got to look at the number that have gone already and the lack of participation on the remaining ones to see that. Im not saying I like it. But it’s a fact that’s difficult to deny.

Looks ace to me. Recon this is on the Christmas list.

Yeah I’ve got everything I need. Just wanted to check on battery compatability. It’s both lipo and brushless compatable apparently. So alls good. Cheers guys.

Hi ive bought my lad a Tamiya tt02 lancia kit for Christmas and I’m wondering if the kit esc is ok for Lipo use? It may well tell me in the instructions but I don’t really want to open it as it’s a present. I’ve tried looking on the web but can’t seem to find info as so what esc it comes with. If it’s no good I’ll just run a hobby wing in it but it would be handy to know. Cheers nick.
