Something you could try to stop it falling out it looks metal so hammer one end so it is slightly oval then when you put it in it will need a tap to fit, it but the oval shape should hold it in without using glue so will come out again with a tap
Bump box had a Roto-Start on a .21 engine all it did was eat OWB, as there was too much torque from the Roto-Start, Compared to a pull start. So I got an SMD starter box even starts brand new tight engines no problem
Perhaps thats why the engine was for sale.....being near the end of its life .May even of had a pinch. I always buy new engines then you know the history.
Looking at changing the engine in my Losi I want speed & acceleration looking at a Novarossi +4 or an RB B10 or WS9. I know the RB's cost more and has more ports but is it worth the extra money over the +4? What do you think?
Thx Jon
I've got an SMD box it started my new Novarossi and that was as tight and a nats arse so tight you had to pre-heat it.
You also need good batteries I use a 12v 9ah loads of grunt.
