  1. Just go on eBay and type FLY-SKY FS-GT2 or COOLRC 2.4 transmitter they'll both come up
  2. Go on eBay, you can pick up a 2.4Ghz set for around £20 like a 3Ch COOLRC £19 or the FLY-SKY FS-GT2 2Ch £20 both on 2.4Ghz , I'm using the FLY-SKY on a 1/5 scale and the COOLRC on a Schumacher Fusion 21, both sets are equally good and do what they say on the box. You can also pickup decent servos from around £10 if you need them. You'll probably be told to spend big bucks for something that does EXACTLY the same thing and is made in the same factory by the know it alls on here.
  3. Sounds about right for a loner like yourself. Chuckle, chuckle.
  4. But you just did say FG are pants. It's a RC model ffs! They've been around for donkeys years and are still selling. Whatever happened to people having the option of deciding what THEY want and can afford? I personally could not give a crap about losi 5ives or King Motors or anything else, my FGs have never let me down over the last 20 years . Handling comes from experience and power is nothing without knowing how to use it! You can have your opinion on FGs and I'll have mine. For a beginner the FGs are an ideal candidate that provides strength, durability and reliability. Every time some newbie asks a question it's forced down their throats what they should buy. And after all the squabbles and advice the newbies never buy anything that's been "recommend" , they sometimes get on here and are never heard of ever again.
  5. Not everyone can afford the newer RCs, and for someone starting out there's absolutely nothing wrong with a FG, they've survived the test of time and are still going via T2M in France. Not everyone on here is off to a race track to win cups either, so for bashing around there's no difference.
  6. Must be reliable because mine are still going strong with all original parts and straight chassis. Nothing debatable about that.
  7. Or save himself £300 and buy either one of my genuine and reliable FG RCs
  8. This is my 26cc FG Truck is now red and white with tyre paint on the " FG Monster Tyres Walls".
  9. I'd go for a 2 WD off roader for more slides and fun! I have two FGs for sale one is 26cc BAJA 2wd with genuine FG power pipe and racing clutch, 2.4Ghz NEW radio gear and NEW jumbo steering servo, NEW battery and NEW charger. And a new unopened bottle of VENOM racing oil from King Cobra Racing. Very fast and very strong! The second is a FG Monster Truck 26cc also new jumbo steering servo from King Cobra Racing and NEW 2.4Ghz radio gear. Metal geared , 8 shock absorbers , body as a very small crack on the rear bumper but apart from that it's a flyer
  10. Today's temperature in Bostonia , Lincolngradshire hit 19`C , what was the temperature in your area.... If it gets too warm I'll have to get my six pack out... Of the fridge.?

14 degrees just outside sunny scarborough,

warm in the sun but cold in the shade,

supposed to be getting warmer though

  11. It's nice and sunny in the Wolds, but that wind is blooming freezing!:cold: I think I'll  be leaving my bike in the shed this evening! ?:cold:

    1. Gaz!

      Gaz!

It’s much better sat in the car with the heaters on, it tricks your mind until you open the door

  12. You're 100% correct! My mistake for saying M6! They are indeed M5 and the standard size M5x50mm for my FG MT stock exhaust.
  13. Good luck and keep the pics coming!
  14. I have a fusion 21 Subaru 3 speed for sale complete with new 2.4 radio set . The Big Six are very rare .
  15. Take a look here.... www.rcmodelz.co.uk
  16. They'll still be M6, just buy a couple of shorter bolts, you can always take a hacksaw to them if you think they are too long. I'd like to correct my wrong information of saying the bolts you need are M6 when in fact they are M5 AND NOT M6! ?
  17. What exhaust you are using? Add a piccy.
  18. You can try turning the H screw on the carb to the left to make the mixture richer or right to lean it out. There's a tuning guide on the top of this page .
  19. Venom racing oil from www.kingcobraracing.co.uk or on eBay
  20. If they are for securing the exhaust to the head then they are M6 x 32mm about £1 odd depending on where you order from.
  21. You should try new batteries (GOOD ONES) what radio are you using? could be very bad interference .
  22. That is the stock exhaust, it would have had EFRA stamped / engraved on it as I remember it.
  23. There was problems with that particular radio set and loss of range. Where the clear RX antenna tube is the inner wire should be slightly exposed ABOVE your tube? if it isn't then you'll have to very carefully cut the tube down until the inner wire is exposed and then if the inner wire is not exposed you will need to cut the outer wire to expose it about 3/4 of an inch.
