I have traded on here a few times and only had one person try and rip me off. They tried and failed. The moderators were great, paypal got my funds back and hopefully he broke his face on a curb. Something that does bug me is the introduction of "buyer pays fees". I would much rather sellers factored that into their prices. The main reason this bugs me is some people lack the math skill to calculate this and ask daft money. Another thing is over inflated postage. Me personally, on large items I sell I over charge on postage to ensure i don't loose out and then refund the change back to the buyer.

As titled, I have a tekin redline motor i am willing to trade for a 4gb ddr2 stick of 800mhz sodimm ram. I may also be interested in buying a stick if the price is right. I'd prefer it was a name i recognized as opposed to the nameless ram that can be picked up off ebay because past exp tells me that stuff is crap. Cheers Luke

Julian, do you know if those cvd's will work with the slash 4x4 as well?

I'm just waiting on some wheel adapters and then my conversion will be complete. 17mm truggy wheels with the wider protrac kit and the revo gear conversion.. Nice wide truck is the goal. Unfortunately though i need a lower kv motor to allow me to gear to a more do-able speed. Something like a 2000kv-3000kv. both my motors are for short courses. (tekin redline and a ten shock)

I just weighed my Wheels in and I'm quite surprised. They are 220g each. Perhaps not such a good shout after all if yours are only 200g.

I bought mine 2nd hand as a test to see how i got on. but here are the links to them in a shop. http://www.wheelspin....co.uk/i/30025/ i couldn't find them on wheelspin but im sure if you have a quick google about you could find some. If you like i can see how much a single wheel with tyre weighs tomorrow.

I'm doing the same as you chap. I've gone with a set of truggy proline dish rims with bowties on. They are not very heavy at all. They might be worth looking into.

I should of bought a revo, this thing is just pipping me off with the limited gearing options for what im trying to do. I'll see how i get on with this setup and if it doesn't work ill just sell it or something and buy a truck better suited to my wants.

When i was pondering getting one of these i thought about using something like a exhaust bracket froma small car to use as a motor brace. check this out http://ebid.s3.amazonaws.com/upload_big/9/3/8/1299971529-29141-15.jpg You could fit the motor in there and mount it to the chassis if you didnt mind drilling 2 holes.

I have bought a 40t spur and an 11t pinion. I need a 2400-2600KV motor now. I currently have a ten shock and a tekin. Just my luck that neither are the right KV for me. Does any body know of some good motors for this KV range? I'd be looking to trade on of my current motors for it or selling them to fund it so work with that sort of budget in mind.

I do have a tekin 632 redline motor which is 3200kv. Do you think this would have the power to pull the slash along with truggy wheels?
