  1. Have you had one, or seen one in action? Spill the beans....
  2. Hey Matt, I`ve got the ezrun 150a (turnigy badged version) in my bl Ram/lst2, very happy with it, although they seem to not like working outside the default parameters, hence the new version the xerun. Looks a beast with the blck dish rims and the chevron tyres!

Don`t give up, just keep your eyes peeled and bide your time, you can get a very useable nitro mt for £100, have had some mega bargains at not much more. £110 delivered for a hopped up revo 3.3 needing a front diff and front cvd and £120 delivered for a almost all ally lst2 with a fresh mach .28 6port in. If you find something you like, but are worried about the price of a courier try interparcel.com you can get a mt size parcel delivered in 24-48 hours for £6.99 plus vat, works out about £8.20 if you pay them by paypal. Oh and I would steer clear of tmaxx`s, you can def get into a revo within your budget.
  4. Yeah, I`d steer away from the tmaxx, if you want a traxxas get a revo, or just look up the losi mt`s and never look back!!!
  5. Found this, music is really bad but it looks fast as ....! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHh50QLfO_I
  6. As above really, I love my revos and lst`s. Have got most of the usual revo mills, os.18tm, rbtm323, picco max.26 and enjoy them, but I have a teal head mach 427 from a muggy sat on the shelf and I haven`t done a big block revo. I don`t want to buy anothe mill, I am just curious really if its worth getting a big block kit ordered and seeing what its like. The Regular 427 in the lst2 moves well enough so I can only imagine it would be a bit mental with only the revo to haul around!!! Has anyone done it, or know of any that have been done. Off to youtube to see if I can find anytrhing there......
  7. I`ve got an imperial set of eds for my losi`s, the first fastener I tried to undo the tip snapped off. I got it undone with one of the `supplied with the kit` cheapo allen keys. They replaced it complete shaft and handle, so I ended up with an extra handle, have been wary of winding up the pressure on them ever since. Have heard many people give really good feedback about them though so it may just be a few isolated incidents???
  8. Fine on the loose stuff, but no good on the ice, worse than they are on damp tarmac and thats bad enough!! The revo has mt badlands on and they were good, the brushless truck did have sav xl rims & tyres on, but I stripped a hex yesterday, so its now got big joes on axial beadlocks, not convinced yet, but we`ll see.... In the morning!!!!
  9. We`ve only just got the snow today, so had to have the toys out. Ran the rb323 revo, brushless ram/lst2 and a stcock lst2. No pics of them in action, just their tracks after! Its a pants pic, but the trucks ripped!
  10. If its the yellow one that goes to the engine mount, then provding your already using a hand held glow plug igniter you don`t need it. I tend to cut both the blue and yellow one off my ez start harnesses its neater.
  11. Ok great, sound simple enough, do they come with a few wiring options included, or will I need to sort the parrallel connector part out?
  12. Hey Guys, Just ordered a new revo bl from ms. Am running single 4s 4000mah 25c packs in my bl Ram, so was planning to buy more of the same/similar spec packs for the revo. Am assuming that the revo will be wired for 2 packs in series as std? Is it straight forward to swap the wiring about to run 2x s packs in parrallel for 8000mah run time? I have searched all over, inc on the traxxas site and can`t find the info. Could anyone help me out, so I can be ready with the right packs. Cheers
  13. Thats cool, what the slime does, is not set like the sealant so the seal is maintained even if the needle settings need to be changed
  14. Nice guide will help loads of people. A couple of small additions. Make sure all the surfaces are clean and free from fuel, or oil residue as the sealant won`t stick to oily surfaces. When you tighten up the parts with sealant, in particular the backplate, as seen in the pics, don`t worry about wiping away the bead which pushes out, wait for everything to dry and it`ll pull of neatly in one go. Some engines will also leak air through the carb needles, these can be sealed using this or other similar products Associated AS1105 Green Slime
  15. If these fall through, I`ll take them both.
  16. I`ve got the turnigy 150a (ezrun/hobbywing) in a lst2/raminator on 4s and its great, if it can deal with the weight of the losi it`ll be even more ballistic in a revo. Am looking at one of the new exrun 150a esc`s and kershaw motor combo for a revo build.
  17. As above, been a bit quiet with the nitro`s this year, but fancy some brushless winter action. Have a lot of nitro revo kit, so would be happy with a conversion set up for one of them, or the brushless edition its self. Money waiting. Cheers

    Off-Road Nitro

What about an old savage, strong enough and simple enough, the big block`s are solid and low maintenance. I don`t have one to offer, but would expect you could find a fairly good one for
