  1. cheers any ideas what type of mount i could use as the standard mount is part of the original motor and would not work with any other motor the standard motor is a 480 size i wanna keep it to a brushed system for a minute
  2. Hi all i recently bought a joyway warrior offshore lite which despite the crappy radio/esc/servo is actually a fast little boat that i thought deserves a upgrade to the radio and speed controller so i purchased a new speed controller off of ebay and it turned out to be a plane one so i pinched the esc off one of my 1/18 buggys and tried again unfortunately whilst performing sea trials (in the bath) this esc burned out so im now using the plane esc and my heli transmitter but its working for a temporary get out and test it period anyway back to the point i wanna put a better motor the standard one looks like it will last about 10 mins has anyone got any ideas of what motor to use and how to mount it in the boat ???
  3. i would say the mcx mate yea u might master it quicker that the msr but i wouldnt say u will get bored of it and u will get more confident quicker with 1 because they are that little bit easyer to fly ive had mine for over a year and still love it to bits wicked little helis ive got loads goin in size from the mcx up to a 30 size nitro and im not bored of it yet when u get a bit better id recomend summin like the walkera cb100 quite easy to fly but alot more challenging than the mcx also they look good to
  4. hi everyone took my savage out this morning with my son got himn going with his little buggie then proceded to fire up my savage let the engine warm foir a bit then a funny little ping noise and stop tried startin again but the engine was stuck solid so i waited for me boy to finish with his and went home with a sulk on lol anyway to cut a long story short the little pin on the crank that the conrod sits on has broken off thought that was the problem simple fix ideal i then tried to remove the piston to get the crank out and it was jammed in there and no amount of tapping or prodding will get it out even tried heating the head up and still wont come out anyway which engine do you recomend for it as thought this is the perfect oppertunity to upgrade its a savage 25 so engine suggestions to suit this truck please chears guys mark
