i normally get mine in the bath with a few inch of water and get a tooth brush round it. Then give it a good spray with wd40. Mind the electrics though.

id have thought a gas one would be better mate, you can get em from about a fiver upwards on the net and if you need extra heat, take out the tip. You can braze and silver solder with these also http://pembyltd.co.uk/cart/products.php?gas_soldering_iron_silverline_497837 this looks good to me for under a tenner. Just an example mate, theres loads to choose from.

Hi wanting a large scale electric monster truck preferably with solid beam axials such as a clod, bullhead, txt, wheely king or large crawler i could convert. Want it 4 off road bashing and light crawling. My ideal would be a clodzilla but if any1 has anything to offer let me know. Maybe i have something you might like to swap. Thanks dan

What material for "carving" scale accessories?

When i was at school they had (in design tech) plastic granuals that you could pour hot water on and it would become completely moldable just like blue tac. It then sets solid when cooled but you can reheat and remold. Found this for you mate http://www.craft-products.com/polyform-plastic.asp -

is wierd why theyve made it like that but i suppose if its just being used for a spot of bashing and not for competing it shouldnt matter. Maybe a few mods will sort it mate, then again maybe its hardly noticable. Give an update when you run it then pal, cheers

Mate apparently that black spring is slightly stiffer to balance out the truck. Read this post i found on youtube @premiumcheese Yes mine does the same, is because of the torque applied to the transmission shaft. In models with engines directly applied to the shaft no longer does. If you notice the left rear bumper provides a slightly stronger spring to try to resolve a little effect but without much success lpsilvaETT 1 week ago lpsilvaETT 1 week agoDo you find that the suspension twists to one side when you use the throttle on your? Mate im always in that boat, i can never make my mind up lol. I look for a car i like for ages and when i finally buy a certain type i always see something else i wished id have got. So now ive decided to stop buying and just upgrade what i have. Unless i see something going cheap haha! -
So im thinking of buying a brushless setup or two for my rc trucks but im a little unsure on what is good and bad, and i dont really understand the power ratings of these motors. I understand brushed motors in terms of more turns = more rpms and more amp draw but less torque but how do brushless motors work? Basically im after upgrading the maverick strada mt which has around a 22-25 turn stock motor and my thunder tiger phoenix st which has a 17 turn motor. What would be the best equivelent brushless motors for these trucks without changing gear ratios etc? Im going to be running them on 4700mah nimh packs for the time being. Unfortunately i cant afford the mambas etc so what is good and cheap?? Cheers lads and lasses in advance!

id get a summit over a savage any day, not as fast but the pulling power is awesome! Surely the summit would kill a savage in a pulling contest:?! Ive seen one on youtube pulling about 4 kids in a trailer lol! And they look to be built more robust. Personal preference though but the summit does it for me mate!
