ive not read the full thread but I always use them, I book direct on the website always pay the insurance and in most cases they get a signature even when I haven't asked for 1. thing is because there was no signature request its easy to say you haven't received it. not saying the guys done this but I wouldn't put it passed some people these days.

whats the difference between the old black stampede chassis and the grey 1?also if they are different can you still get bits for it or are they compatible with new 1s?

give it a try pal it may work but it might not. id get it as tight as you can to get a good curve on it, its basically really strong straight wires in side the plastic tubing make sure you have some good quality cable cutters to cut it to the size you want it too.

you should be ok with the gear cables they are quite flexible, stick a small amount of grease on the cables will help with movement . p.s with the 4mm outer tube you may need something to help bend it so you get a nice curve on it because its very stiff that's if you need a tight curve if not you should be ok.

depending on the end of the cable you could try mountain bike cables? can you post a pic of the cable you have?

some folk these days, parked up outside school n a guy in a van pulls up scraps front end of car n nearly moved the car,he stopped then carryed on to park. so i gets art walks to van n hes sat there puttin his stamps on his envolopes!! his excuse sorry i didnt see your car n didnt feel anything. ye all right pal now got a massive scrape on it n wants us to take car 20miles to a garage he uses so we dont go thru insurance. decisions decisions.

Check that he is insured on http://askmid.com. You need his insurance details and if he won't give them, involve the police. Ideally, you should have witnesses or he can just deny it.

been thinking about treating are lass for xmas on the list so far vax steam cleaner, new lamp to replace the 1 i broke, a pair of decent marigolds because her last 1s got paint on them, i cant think of anything else that ive broken or damaged so that will have to do........

could be something to do with the drag when you release the throttle motor stopping quickly so the prop drags causing it to tilt forward hence the dive. i had the same issue with a boat i had never really solved it though just let the throttle off slowly which helped. may have something to do with the angle of the prop shaft as with mine if i put it in reverse the back end wanted to go under

i searched for 1/18 on the uk warehouse it comes up with 8 pages of cars n parts its on there where i found it. says 10+ stock so should have them in
