  1. Cheaper if you buy direct. Both wheels are designed for the Losi platform. 5imian... Beringei...
  2. The customs entry charge is DHL's own charge for processing the package through customs for you, and their sending out a letter for payment. Parcelforce has a similar charge amount, whilst Fedex is £13.
  3. Its just the Orange thats no longer being produced. Sorry for the confusion.
  4. No. We have discontinued that colour in that style. Limited quantities of the Mercenary are available, but when theyre gone, theyre gone forever.
  5. Are you using internet explorer by any chance?
  6. Can you PM the serial number. I may be interested in a swap for a new (ex display) Losi 5.
  7. Give some thought to perhaps getting a cyclocross bike.
  8. Our original #4 sized screws are 3/32 hex. Our soon to be released #6 sized screws are 7/64 hex.
  9. Coming soon, our dish wheel design for the Losi 5ive.....
  10. We are expecting these next week.
  11. If the screws are still in the wheel & have pulled through the beadlocks, then you will need new beadlocks. If the screws have fallen out entirely from the wheel/beadlock assembly then you will need larger coarse threaded screws ot longer bolts with nylock nuts.
  12. Hi folks, a quick introduction from me. A few points I would like to raise & then I will be on my way.... Unfortunately I will not be commiting myself to this project. A closed door policy will not make this time, nor cost effective to me. I wish you guys every bit of luck going getting this off the ground though.
  13. Grab yourself some 5imians. Theyre designed for the Losi platform with +3mm offset. Plus theyre ultra scale looking too
  14. I can meet you at my house with anything you wish to view from the warehouse. Im on nights until the beggining of February, so shoot me a PM about 'visiting hours' and anything you are perhaps interested in.
  15. We sell tyres also. There isnt a great amaount of difference between the hard & extra hard compunds in terms of longevity. The 'shore hardness between the 2 compounds is 5, but there would be a tolerance of -/+ 5 on each compound anyway. I prefer the hard compound over the extra hard, as the tyre tends to flex a little more in the turns. The flexing means that there is more of the tread maintaining contact with the ground surface.
  16. Shoot me your addeess in a PM or email ([email protected]) with photographic proof of the stripped thread, and I will replace it. Incidentally, you are the first person to strip a v2 nut in all the testing we did (20 people, for almost a year) and in 6 months of retailing these (over 1000 units sold). To clarify.... If anyone has any issues with any Silverback product, they should contact me in the first instance.
  17. The v2 nuts do not have any writing inside, and have been available for 6 months or so. I do now that there have been a couple of instances of recent purchases made from Freeprawn where they have received v1 nuts.
  18. Did you guys purchase the v1 or v2 nuts? The first batch of v1 nuts did have some stripping issues, and were withdrawn from sale. The thread on the v1 nutz were molded into the part. The v2 nutz have the thread machined into the part, post moulding process. That coupled with the revised glass & Kevlar filled material blend has resulted in a product as strong as its aluminium equivalent.
  19. You can find all our beadlocks on this page..... http://silverbackrcproducts.com/department/beadlocks_department/
  20. If the screws are pulling out very easily then the best mod you can do is fit longer bolts with nylock nuts. This would be the optimal set up for the outer rings. For the inner rings you can use my coarse threaded screws without any problems. The ID is the same for the Losi wheels as the HPI wheels. The offset is increased to allow for clearance of the hubs & stering geometry. Our v3 lipped outer rings are over 20% stronger (flexural strength) and over 30% tougher (impact resistance) than any commercially available 'plastic' rings. The v3 rings have a larger surface area protecting more of your tyre sidewall. They are compatible with all HPI Baja wheels, and Losi 5ive wheels. We also have lipped inner rings to use with the Losi 5ive wheels & tyres, and we also have non lipped inner rings for the HPI Baja platforms. If you are running axle extenders on the Losi, you can also use our non lipped inners.
  21. Apart from the Octane (due February 2014 Im told).
  22. .... and it still comes with a plastic clutch bell carrier?
  23. You can put a very fine bead of clear silicone sealant between the wheel/tyre and the tyre/beadlocks. I do it on all my builds. If you want to put a hole in your tyre, just use a 3mm drill bit in 2 or 4 places. Job done.
