Well i can only speak of my experiences of savages and tmaxxs. The savage chassis etc seems to slot together so needs quite a few more screws removing before it starts to come apart. Whereas my tmaxx now that i do find easy! Ive done a complete strip down and rebuild in 2 hours. When i say complete i mean every single part including diffs & bearings were taken apart, cleaned, dried, regreased, locktited and put back together! Was fun to do and very simple!
Also i just find that with the tmaxx everything is easy to get at! I changed the Center CVDS in 15 mins and that requires removing skid plates etc. Oh and one other thing i had the gearbox apart too and just like the savage its 100% metal bar the outside casing!
Oh and just so you know i have my Tmaxx for sale! :P :P
