@bertberr I have always been a fan of Traxxas and they do make a generally good high quality product although electronics are debatable lol. Price wise I think can be justified a lot of the time. I think its definitely their business practices that are causing a lot of hate these days. This is highly controversial but I think id rather run Traxxas over Arrma at the moment. Never had an issue obtaining spares for my xmaxx and sometimes cheaper to repair than my smaller 1/8th Scale ARRMA cars. I have been eyeing up a Maxx 4s for ages now! Maybe I will sell all my ARRMA cars and go full on Traxxas Mode hehe 🤪

Just hope the parts are cheaper on the new Traxxas Cars and not like ARRMA's budget/beginner range... £40 for a slipper clutch and £47 for a diff? on a budget platform? and then you can never find stock. Not good!

@Kpowell911 Very valid point and chances are parts wont be available after a couple of years as a lot of these companies fail to support their models long term. What the Hyper Go's are good for is getting people into the hobby with great performance at a low price. I dont think many think about or even care about long term parts support with these budget cars as most move on to bigger and better things. Years ago buying a small RTR for around £100 that can do 47mph out the box was unheard of.  Something Traxxas/Arrma are failing to recognise is people want value but also decent performance to keep their interest. I do like the new budget range from ARRMA and of course this new Traxxas mini is interesting but I know now it will not be priced within reach for a lot of people. Especially people starting out which is once again where these cheap Chinese budget models come in to save the day.. If the big boys in the hobby made it less about the money and more about the hobbyist maybe the Chinese stuff wouldn't be making as much of a impact as it is. I am a massive ARRMA/Traxxas fanboy at heart but I am struggling to support current business practices. 

@Gaz! SeriousRC have all the spares so parts back up for MJX stuff is excellent now in the UK (This was always an issue with the cheap Chinese stuff) Parts are really cheap. The new Rlaarlo ROG1 is also epic for the money 48mph on 3s and its 1/14 scale. Parts are an issue with that one and no UK stock but by Jan 2025 SeriousRC will also be stocking all the vehicles and spares for Rlaarlo too. I know Chinese cars dont have as many fans as Traxxas and big brands but truthfully those big brands need to work on pricing their cars way closer to the cheaper competition for them to be a success. The GROM range is a prime example. Way too expensive to begin with (Should be £70-80 IMO) very weak performance wise, parts and upgrades crazy expensive and the same performance/speed can be had with a hyper go for example for £100 give or take. A friend of mine has upgraded his Mojave GROM with a furitek brushless system, driveshafts etc and its cost well over £300 which takes it into 1/10 Territory. The GROM range is just a money making scheme for ARRMA. Same as the Gorgon, 4x2 Range. Cheap to buy initially and then £40 for a slipper clutch, £66 for a body and £50 for a diff? Haha!! Think i need to cover all this in more detail in a full length vid!

a few channels i follow have just done giveaways mate so i dont think they are banned you just have to be careful there are certain rules to follow to stay in the guidelines.
