  1. Thanks, I will consider a video like that. I could do one on how to take apart and clean and re-grease the transmission? I think that might be helpful.
  2. Awesome, I managed to get the outline of Saturn with my small Panasonic camcorder, I was amazed that such a small camera could even make out the outline.
  3. Thanks for the positive replies! I will sort out the links soon, just been re-decorating the last week so have not had time to sort anything out. I will also try and make some more videos in the next week or so. thanks again!
  4. Hello, I have been into RC for a while and have started making some RC How To videos. I only have two up at the time of writing this but I hope to do some more very soon. I would really appreciate it if you could have a look and give me some feedback and maybe some suggestions for more videos. I have a few older videos that I posted a year or two back which were quite popular so I am hoping that my new videos will be as well. my channel name on YouTube is gmodertom (same as forum name) here is the link: http://www.youtube.c...om?feature=mhee again any comments and feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

  6. Thanks for the information, I was looking forward to having a look at it, its a shame its not worked out. I will have to drive a real car round the Silverstone track instead lol
  7. Hi, I remember about a year ago the mentioning of the moto arena at silverstone. I am going near there soon so I was going to maybe go have a look at it. However the official website has gone dead and I cannot find any other information on it. is is still open????
  8. I like the look of them but they will be expensive judging by the price of team Orion Lipos... They will probably be good though.
  9. Hi, go onto the product page for the Blitz ESE on the HPI Europe website, then download the instructions. The installation for that part is somewhere around page 34 I think, Hope this helps.
  10. yeh you tend to find that major brands cost more but are not necessarily much better than say Vapex ones, I have some Orion rocket packs and they are good but I also have some cheaper ones and I cant really tell a difference in speed but the Orion ones do give you the full capacity stated unlike some cheaper ones.
  11. Hi, just wanted to ask if anyone has an E-revo and what they think of it? is it worth
  12. Hello, I haven't done 'anything RC' since I started college about a year ago, I have been too busy and ran out of money to fix up my existing cars. Now that it is summer (and my bday in a few weeks) I would like to get back into RC again and buy a new car. I currently have a Traxxas slash but it is about 3 years old and has had a lot of abuse so it is not in a brilliant condition. I have another Traxxas car which bacically needs everything replacing including electronics and a really old Nitro buggy which is bacically beyond repair. so I would like a new RC to get me back into the hobby. What Kind of car I want: Has to be Electric (preferably Brushless) preferably a large car 1/8th scale or a Large 1/10th scale It needs to be able to handle tough terrain and jumps (looking for a monster truck type car) I will have approx. £350-400 to spend on the car with a little extra for batteries. I allready have a lot of tools some old batteries, screws, radio sets etc. so I will not need anything extra to go with it. Cars I have in mind: Traxxas E-Revo (It is within budget and it is a large 4WD car, but it is not brushless. I have no idea if it is slow with brushed motors? plus I could allways upgrade to brushless later and this would be about the same price as buying the brushless one) HPI Savage XS (Its a small car I know but it is well within budget and looks pretty fun, and I cannot quite strech to its bigger brother) Other cars I could save up for: Traxxas Summit E-revo brushless Savage Flux HPI Truggy flux E-Maxx Brushless I will be running the car on a flat Dirt surface mostly with jumps that I set up. I also ocassionally take it to other places with dirt jumps etc. and sometimes on sand dunes. I may also take it to my nearest track if I get my own (real) car to drive there but I will probably not be racing just driving it for fun. (the track is astro turf btw) Sorry for all the text but if there is any car you would reccomend please tell me, I would prefer a brushless car but would I be dissapoined with something like the brushed e-revo?? is it slower than the 3500kv Velenion on 2s Lipo which I have in my slash? or would you reccomend I save another £100-200 and get a brushless cars like the ones mentioned. Thanks in advance.
  13. That's disapointing I can't afford the HP I might get the new Savage XS instead or maybe the E-revo if I have enough money. Thanks for the replys anyway.
  14. Hi, does anyone know if the savage 2350 will be avalable again? I really wanted one but modelsport no longer sell it and neither do a lot of other UK dealers. Are they re-releasing a 2.4Ghz kit or something?? Thanks in advance.
