There's been some mk1 escort shells made for the Baja, can't help thinking this shell in matte black and a big dummy supercharger sticking out the hood wheelieing down the road would look awesome. Something like this... Preferably with a Conley V8 in there
  2. Been doing a fair bit of work to the RS over the Xmas holidays! Stuck in a gallon of fuel and a freshly charged battery and it fired up straight away. Gave it a good wash and wax. 18 months of crud was on there but it's nice and dry. My
  3. As above. Run a double sided servo horn and a fail safe on your throttle servo. You may need to trim the roll cage for the linkage. Nearly finished my Digi 4 throttle servo conversion on my Baja with a LiFe battery to allow a whole load of torque to be applied to my brakes
  4. Apologies for the late reply, I saw the pm but forgot to reply. Prolines are 12mm hex. Unsure of the offset on the prolines as I'm currently away but will get back to you on that.
  5. Had a blitz a while back, good little trucks. Converted mine to a desert buggy, could take a beating!

    SORTED

Does it have to be brand new? I have a Novarossi .21 with very little use on it. Boxed and comes with pipe, venturis and a new clutch/ clutchbell, ready to install.
  7. Selling all of these. All prices are plus postage. First up is an Ansmann Macnum converted to a SCT with the Team C kit. A fair few upgrades on this including RPM arms and bumpers, metal body shocks, CF bottom plates, new wheels/tyres and a whole bunch i've probably missed out. Towerpor MG995 steering servo and a Hobbywing 35A ESC. Will just need a motor, tx/rx and battery to get running. Shell is in decent condition. Everything rolls smoothly and there are a whole bunch of spares included with it. Tough little car that's great for kids. After
  8. Couple more pics of the mk1 Got this to bolt on at somepoint
  9. Progress DA Sander and a selection of grit papers saved me 3 hours or so of sanding and prep work! 3 coats of primer down, will flat it back with some 800 grit prior to painting O/S primed N/S Primed and fitted Windscreen coming out tomorrow to finish the last of the welding for the front half off the car
  10. Need to get my arse to an NLB meet soon. Can't remember the last time I went to one!
  11. Jenny's RC in the states mate. They're on eBay, either them or St. Louis RC Might be worth giving Dms a ring, quite local to me, decent store
  12. That doesn't really narrow it down much as all bar 2 are on road tyres... All I've got left are the PMT fenices, the truck tyres and the marder tyres
  13. Damn, paid $33 for just the 2 speed cam with bushings and it's $33 for the full 2 speed set up Need to get the LST2s back up and running.
  14. I get what you mean but I'm pretty much always in the garage so it's handy for repelling petrol, oil water and whatever else I accidentally spill or if I jack up my car and forget the phone is on the roof Redirects the speakers to the front of the phone too which is a nice touch as I usually find my hands blocking the speaker
  15. Recently purchased a space grey iPhone 5S 32gb, replaced my ancient 3GS which has served me well for nigh on 4 years until I finally smashed it rather spectacularly against a kerb. Still works mind you but I'm not a fan of getting glass shards in my hand everytime i try and text. Loving the slo-mo and burst features on the camera. Fingerprint recognition is a bit of a gimmick but it does come in useful for purchases on the app store, although I no longer use it due to having one of these bad boy cases. Doubt i'll be breaking it in any hurry!
  16. Gah, they patch the cloning glitch!
  17. Very nice! My old man had a red E reg Spitfire back in the day. This is his '72 Old English White Stag.
  18. Yup, hardly anything left though just the front/rear valance and the rear wings.
  19. Clearing out the garage and there's 4 welding machines in there so they've gotta go to make some room! So for sale is my Clarke 350TE Arc Welder, not seen much use but is very reliable and cost around
  20. Looks good so far. Although the ESCs remind me of these
  21. Temp checking for me usually involves hwo long I can hold my finger on the can until I get burnt. Josh1A1H did that on my old LST2 ezrun motor when it was over 110 degrees celcius
  22. Adaptors arrived today, well pleased with the machining and the turnaround time
