    The transmitter will be a basic hitec ranger or sanwa dash, the only adjustment is throttle trim as far as i know.

    I tend to charge my 2300mah nimh packs at 3amp on my ripmax delta peak charger, they get warm but not too bad.

    Hi i am thinking of getting my son a tamiya lunchbox or monster beetle for his birthday, but he will only be 5 so I need to be able to slow it down a lot. He was playing with my boomerang today which was to fast (ballraced and stock silver can motor ). I have the radio gear (27mhz ) and nimh batteries and charger, changing these is not an option. would it be ok to put in a rock crawler motor in, say around 40t? cheers chris

    Is there a Formula 1 1/10th scene in the UK? As a kid i always wanted one of the tamiya f1 cars but had nowhere to play but that was 25 years ago, I see that they are still available though but cant seem to find much info on racing in the UK. Cheers Chris

    I am in Barham, just bought a RC10B3, Hpi RS4 Rally, Kyosho Lazer Alpha (x2) and got an old boomerang. amazing what you can get off ebay for peanuts. There was a thread started here years ago about meet ups around Ipswich but seems to have died some time ago

    I have just got back in to this and have been buying a few cars (rc10b3, 2 lazer alpha, rs4 rally )to go with my old boomerang. All are equiped with radio gear and motors and i have a load of batteries (nmhd). I am planning on racing the rc10b3 but what would be the best thing to upgrade first, radio, motor/esc or batteries .
