  1. with all the bearing failures on the 3.3 engine i would be after a nice oily fuel for it
  2. have you checked the carb bowl is clean and needle jets are clear? petrol engines dont really require retuning all the time like nitro
  3. also what method did you use to lock the diffs, sometimes the weight of the diff can affect the cars speed
  4. i run a team almighty 19t race motor on my viper 15 and ive run down to a pilot 10t double wind on the viper tempo 11 how waterproof? ive had water sloshing about in the tub and no problems yet,the only source of trouble could be the power switch, but i waterproofed that with gaffa tape
  5. i run mtroniks waterproof esc in both my cars,no complaints here, mine run faultlessly
  6. the gtr has not replaced the r34,the new gtr is another platform not related to the skyline, the new skyline is the 350gt,anyway yes i would expect the new gtr wil be comited to lexan, nomuken already has a gtr for d1 this year, all be it with 350z running gear(the new gtr is independant trans axle)
  7. ive just got another tmaxx as part of a trade in that i dont want 4 tank old 2.5r engine, otherwise pretty standard apart from the rpm front bumper 2 shells and a roll cage that needs the back bar rewelding to make it solid again(they stupidly made the joint on a corner) pullsart and standard radio gear 100 pounds posted will get some more pics up tomorrow not the one with the hummer shell, and these pics are pre engine change
  8. i dont believe ive seen a waterproof bl speedo yet, most of the fun in off road is the wet and mud
  9. nitro fuel and nitro methane used in race engines is very similar,im tempted to try nitro fuel in my skyline working off a pressure switch
  10. im not surprised at all that rotstarts kill owb,it will be the chatter that kills em,my mates savage ate the owb in two tanks, then again two tanks after that
  11. carbon will be good at resisting flex without bending permanently
  12. factory settings arent right for all conditions,it might need adjusting from factory to get it started
  13. i made a tourer shell fit my stadium truck so i dont see why not
  14. abc hobby in america do lots of old skool jap stuff
  15. when you take off the air filter and look down the throat of the carb you will see the bit that moves to let more air in,thats where the 1mm gap should be,does the engine only turn over once when its primed then it wont move? thats too much fuel hydrolocking the engine, either loosen the plug as suggested above or lean the lsn a tiny bit so you get less fuel
