The Trooper
Heads easy enough to do mate as long as you take your time and lube up the inside of the head and pison in two stroke to make things slip in, and out, in and out, in and out (..) without too much force as to avoid damaging the plating

The Trooper
The baja done me proud today! took a hell of alot of stick and came back for more.. (after some 'maintenance' on a couple of occasions..). Went down to the NEB bash in Hartlepool and had some fun, unfortunetly when we got there we found dads head cracked (again..) so he didnt get any running - unless 3 meters counts. Pics.... ------------------------------ And now to my baja she done well, only a little damage (and nothing to stop me running - good job i had dads there to take spares from.. ) Damage consists of 2 drive shafts, 1 shock shaft, 1 spark plug and 1 steering rod, Not bad considering the size of the jumps we were doing, I only have 1 video unfortunetly but i hope others got more and some photos of when i got home.. The Trooper
Well, i started cleaning the baja today and evaluating the damage that i caused, and as i feared all was not as it seemed when i started dismantling her. I found a knackered front lower arm so have ordered RPM ones to replace that corner and also the 2 front tower supports need replaced so i have ordered some Silver alloy GH ones, Also decided that i wanted a new shell so went for MMR's MMR monday offer of the proline undertray and desert rat shell. The cleaning is going well, i have managed to do about half of the front end. And the beast as she lies now..... Cheers all, will keep this thread updated as i proceed Let me know what you think
adolf hamster
you can't just replace one corner. think of the balance man!
carlcurtis83
Looking good Troop, I'm contemplating the shell combo from MMR too. Shame about ya dads head too, seems to have nothing but bad luck with that engine.
