Callyakn
Heres some pics guys of my blackjack out the box... Any ideas why its different to all the youtube vids I've watched etc of people unboxing/using them? Things i noticed - rudder is black coated aluminium (presume its ali), it doesn't have a magnetic cover top, nor a secondary barrier under neath? the motor is 2000KV not 1800KV and the ESC is 120A not 80A?! oh and i didn't get a programmer for ESC? AND theres an ariel out the top of the boat! Cheers guys!! check the pics!
.AJ.
Maybe it's a new version? Also mine never had electrics tray and battery trays like the black ones in your pics, It was made of plywood Also noticed your top hatch is now square instead of oval and is the black part in the recess a foam seal? If so that has done away with the need for inner cover, the inner cover was just a bodge anyway because it was well know for you to lose the top hatch in a crash and the boat sink, the inner cover was fittedd so it would keep it watertight if you did lose the top hatch, overall yours looks to be a much better version Edited August 13, 2015 by .AJ. kumadoken
This thing is pretty easy maintenance wise, about every 5 runs I use the following marine grease on the flex shaft http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?product_id=401055&gclid=Cj0KEQjw9tW5BRDk29KDnqWu4fMBEiQAKj7sp96Wk1Bq9W84K4DJiqvyHjSNNfBsojD5nGIC36XCUgUaAguz8P8HAQ
