I had a look online and its compatible with ANY spectrum/JP aircraft transmitter ???? i know the DX3S is not an aircraft will this make a difference??? To be honest I think that once it is bound to the TX then it's a matter of finding out which channel does which. ST/THR etc etc. I don't see why it wouldn't work and may give more range! Posted November 19, 2013 Share Posted November 19, 2013 it wont work, the receiver you have is "ar" which is air based, you need "sr" which is surface based. the orange one your after that will work is the orange gr400 the others are for the dx6i, dx7i, dx8i etc. sorry fella.
