  1. £75 without wheels 😂 I can see a custom wide axle high steering setup coming on it’s crazy all the parts that are now available and for peanuts! Scx10 ii universal joints for £10-20! I was importing xr10 universals for my builds at +£45
  2. I’ve been looking at the injora rock buggy and the unbranded one on eBay that’s £100! from what I’ve seen it’s an axial base with scx10 ii copy axles and gearbox? Looks like it could fit the bill for making a super capable budget rig.
  3. Hey! Long time member but I’ve been out of the hobby for the last +5 years. I was big into scalers back then but the scx10 2 had only just been released! I’m thinking about getting back into it and buying a rock crawler specific rig either moa or shafty when I was last into it you either bought a xr10 (rare then!) enroute berg (rare!) or rc4wd bully 2 ( big bucks) or bought a cheap ax10 roller or axles to build a shafty/sporty class. What’s the best options now? Anything budget that’s good to modify? I was big into modifying and custom modifying before. again no scalers of any kind. Pure comp crawlers
  4. A uksc Facebook member bought a kit, built it for you and painted it. He wanted no extra but the price of the kit. He even offered to deliver it for free on a +250 mile journey. you repaid this kindness with making out you didn't have the money then after more friendly discussions blocking him. dishonest and disrespectful is the nicest thing I can say
  5. Such a shame this is cut at the front.... I want one for a unimog project.....
  6. As title I'm ideally wanting a proline pick up shell roughly 180mm wide, modelsport do a variety of them in fords and chevys etc and that's the kind I want but there not In stock and a used shell would be better Pm me what you have
  7. most go for brushed motors a good set of tekins will do the trick 35-55t
  8. Was just going to on about the chassis!
  9. Only the jazrider knuckles fit the c hubs. I tried with axial high steering knuckles and jazrider c hubs and they just bind.
  10. Cheers lads It's took me so long as I've nearly come to sell it at least 3 times! But I've decided it needs to be finished first and played with lol I've also decided to build a full cage frame just to see how good my cage skills are so that's taking priority at moment as I might have a buyer for it
  11. thought id update this as its been soooooooo long. so i cracked on and got the shell pretty much done. i then got the chassis thrown together and thought it would be a good idea to run it around the garage as rwd and this happened. next step was the cage work and after deciding to do it in steel i cracked on i decided to simply the cage to reduce weight and here it is finished and everything mounted so i then had a play with the shock setup so it sits right and thats up to date and here's the list of things to do: mount the shell more securely in shell cage work make bed swap the motor out for something slower mount the electrics up and battery paint the shell weight wheels up cheers for looking Adam
  12. Pm me what you have ideally waterproof and lipo cut off but will consider anything
  13. I did that mod on mine. M4 bar straight through. Handles terribly because because it stops the truck tilting side to side. The truck just tips over, I'm doing the 5th shock mod
  14. Think your taking the lunchbox a little to serious lol there's no straight answer as everyone is different you just have to experiment
  15. Should have my parts tonight to get it going. Can't wait!
