Schumacher axis 2 (maybe)

Ive just picked up a second hand schumacher that hast been used in years. Is that old it has crystal radio gear! Im going to use this as my base drifter, which should be alot better than my maverick.

Its looks to be fully upgraded. Its all carbon and ally. Has anyone used schumachers for drifting?

Im going to strip down, clean and re oil/grease the lot. Any advice in which oul to use for the shocks? It has a anti roll bar on the back, is this need for drifting?

My first purchase is going to be a battery tray so i dont have to use the hump pack style to clear the belt.

What sort of gearing should i have to setup up counter steer?

  • 4 weeks later...

Got the car down to soul last week. Had a good day, car went well. Im running it with 1.54 cs. James at soul had a 2 second go on it and noticed my driveshaft were binding lol. Turned the end points down, and it drove fine. found and cured the binding, so have maximum possible lock from the steering setup. Feels like i need to gain a little rear end grip coming out of a drift. Any thoughts ?
