I've had an interesting email from the brca so fingers crossed for this I'd probably look at the GT12 cars my main expense will be carpet but I have an idea that may cover that, I'd probably use basic lap counting gear to start to save set up costs. my only concern would be "will people come?" But I have no way of telling until things are set up. Dave

Well i have asked the brca what i need to do to start a club. on road would be nice i love on road racing but if off road is the popular choice i guess i'd have to go that way. Dave

Yes I found info on TORC on the net but none of it current they don't seem to exist anymore. Can the Mardave circuit cars run on polished floors or would carpet have to be laid? Dave

Ok I'll keep my ear to the ground how what kind of floor is needed does it have to be carpet or is normal sports hall flooring ok? Would it be needed once a week and for how long 2-3 hours?. I have no idea how a club should run or how to start one is there any info/resources out there? Dave

I gave up with the post office and parcel farce after losing so much gear and what wasn't lost was damaged so I've used my Hermes since and never had a problem everything I send is fully insured maybe I'm just lucky. Dave -
Hi I am looking to get into rc car racing what clubs if any are there in Devon? I know of a very large school sports hall that maybe coming available so I may have the opportunity to start a club what cars would be best in there? Many many years ago I saw an indoor club racing Mardave mini stocks is there a modern equivalent? Dave

You shouldn't need to waterproof anything as the inside of the boat should remain dry any motors can be used i run brushed and brushless in boats all you need is a prop shaft of whatever length you need to achieve a watertight connection between motor and prop. I think u'll find planking a hull in wood easier than moulding one you can glass it inside for extra strength if needed. Dave

Selling my TT01e as you see it minus the receiver plus a couple of sets of wheels it has a Nosram dominator speedo dynasty 19t a Sanwa 141HR stearing servo alloy main shaft full bearing kit there are a few other bits n bobs pinions etc which i'll throw in the box The shell has a few bumps and splits from club racing but is still very usable i have only used it indoors i'm asking

I've been told nimhs over 4500mah need to be charged differently or is it ok to charge a 5100mah at 1c?

Can anyone recommend replacement shocks i have ballraced my chassis and got an alloy main shaft i've looked om ebay etc for shocks there's several choices and prices so any recommendations?? -

I have recently started racing at my local club with a TT01e chassis i have fitted a bearing kit and will upgrade the drive shaft and shocks later i am enjoying the racing loads and wandered what a future upgrade car would be as i see plenty of second hand gear on here or ebay my local shop is selling xray 008 kits for

It's an interest that's growing i've been trawling some sites but at the mo the lingo is beyond me but it would be nice to know what some of these vehicles are.
