To be honest mate super glue isnt going to help. I have chemcal metal which is as close as you can get to real metal and it will just give way if you stripped screw because it as to tight. The only thing I can think of is some screw and bolt removers . you just put them in a cordless drill and put it in revers and it bites into the screw head and screws it out . Good luck with the superglue mate but I reckon it wont work. daz

Well I have tried 2 stroke as I thought t would be cheaper in the long run. I found out you need endless pockets lol to run petrols so coming back to nitro. I have a schumacher havoc and a Hyper ST Pro roller to fix up. I am also going to buy a hyper 7 or 8 as I sold both before I got to use em . I just wished I had listened to my mates on here before I spent over a grand . daz

Cheers mate will do. I have had about enough of petrol now me thinks lol. That is the problem with buying second hand everything looks ok but you dont know how much use it has. I am realy tempted to fix it then just sell it the same wth my baja. i have a Hyper st roller in the shed I might just fx that up instead . The only thing is I have been replacing the parts with upgrades when they break on both cars do you think one day they will stop breaking ? or is it the norm with largscale as I was lead to believe that they broke a lot less.? cheers daz

Well had the FG MT out for an hour tonight till I lost drive . I have just had a look and the clutch bell snapped resulting in the small drive gear being trashed also the gear carrier melted and brake disk broke . I dont have a clue how it snapped bt it did lol. At least I had an hours play lol. daz

Running costs mate . That is the only reason. I think HPI takes the water with the price of parts and would like to be able to have some spare shocks etc etc in my box lol. daz

I finaly got the shock shafts to fix my HPI Baja and going to be fixing shortly . been thinking of swapping it for a fg but would I get a decent Fg baja for it ? Here are a few details about mine . It is a V1 with a 26cc ported engine , VRC silenced pipe . It has 6mm rear shocks , Virtualy brand new Hostile MX super hard tyres only had 20 mins use . Silver back beadlocks. I have the alloy diff case still in packet ready to fit also some brand new custom stainless steel steering arms ready to fit I Bought these off mr swindon excellent quality I paid 35 quid for them. It has the HPI SFL10 MG steering servo with alu arm and power hd 15kg throttle servo . I have also done the mesh mod on engine and roll cage mod also have a few other spares . .

It all depends how much you want to spend mate ? The svox will probs be better but the power hd will also be good just cheaper. daz

One lad got scammed with a baja . He swapped 2 good savages for it and when he got the baja it was totaly ****ed. He has also scammed others but I dont know the details. I was actualy thinking of buying the baja before the lad swaped him I am glad I didnt. He should have his hands chopped off IMHO he has no concience . It makes you wonder how many other forums IE mobile phone , fshing etc etc he is scamming people on. I have to also say he is one ugly mofo I am sure I seen him delivering kebab shop leaflets round sunderland lol. daz

Just the price of parts mate realy. I mean 80 quid for a pair of shocks is taking the water lol. I am not 100% sure if I want to change yet but seriously thinking about it. cheers daz

Can you not just format it before windows loads and start from scratch? I think you push f12 when you turn pc on to get into setup options. daz
