  1. These are with the shell from my 2wd car!! There is obviously further work to be done, and I have some upgrades planned, but not necessarily before I run and test the car. You can see how simple the car looks, and the familiar FG style.
  2. Right then. Off to take some photos by request. To be updated very soon.
  3. In my opinion ::::::: The best thing about the FG Leopard Sportsline is its a relatively low cost, basic, easy to work on proven reliable designe. That should be very good straight from the box. And upgradable as you bust stuff or as you can afford to upgrade. I'm very much looking forward to racing this car. Picture up soon.
  4. That's great to have a local track, and hopefully will grow with its members. I got a good feeling about the 4wd class for next year. I believe it will get stronger, and very much looking forward to battling with the MCD's & Punishers. Bring it on. That's the FG Confidence.
  5. Good wright up Mike and great result. I am looking forward to the 2013 race Season with my FG Leopard 4 wd Sportsline.
  6. Excellent. You will be rubbing paint with me then next year.
  7. One thing you should do with your Pinisher. Race it..........
  8. I have some Punisher /Destroyer parts. I have about 10 shocks, at least 6 of them are complete and ready to use, then there are a load of shock spares like springs, seals, shafts, fittings ect. I also have a pair of CVD's, several drive shafts and drive cups. PM me if your interested on a good deal as they are surplus to requirements. Good luck with the build, look forward to seeing it.
  9. Anyone thought about having a go at making a shell out of a large plastic container? Such as a large water bottle container. It would be contoured, tuff, and easy to work with. I think if the right size container was found it could be possible, even may be to resorting to putting two together................................No I'm not doing it.........but would would be a good thing to see, a real Blue Peter effort.
  10. Will you split the exhaust? You have my contact details if you do.
  11. I notice this shell doesn't have the bulge on the side for the high mounted exhaust. Have you gone for a side mounted, or is the Samba smaller?
  12. It don't look too bad for a bloke with a shaky hand, poor eye sight and painting through a smoke screen. It will look even better as I pass it by.
  13. Looks cool. Any mods during the build?
  14. Ah man' embarrassing. I'm sure it's not much by the looks.
  15. I would have thought FG Marder or Baja used would have been the best bet. Spares are readily available and very reasonable. And there is no end of threads on here for information on those cars. And if your spanner work is in its learning stage then they are ideal as they are so simple.
  16. Ah' that'll be the two weddings (not mine) and the 60 hours a week then. Daughter last year Son next year. My Day will come!!
  17. I may have what your after. I have a full rtr JQ The Car E powered that I will be splitting. I just need to pull the stuff from the car to see what I have. It's all perfectly good stuff and has been competitive this year at the highest level. But not seen much use.
