Velcro or Double sided tape are the norm. You can get Industrial Velcro from B&Q and the likes, at least this secures it and gives you the chance to remove it if required. Having said that, my ESC has just been fitted with double sided pads (about 1-2mm thick) helps with vibration. Personaly I would not use cable ties because the above is better and more practicle.

Just to clarify!! I can vouch for him as above. And his motor is a Spanky shiny New one. (not that mine is dirty of course)

One of the best things about racing is, it's all enclosed in a controlled environment. I wouldnt run my car in a public area. But if I did I would deffinately have insurance.
