  1. No not yet. Suppose I will be looking at the New Year now, unless I can get to make a club meeting before Chrimbo. Kind of keen to give it a go, but not keen to run in the wet.
  2. Ah yeah' but yours is 2wd of course so should be fine. I have the 4wd version so will probably be better with the twin servo to counter this.
  3. Great result first time out. I was gonna ask how it was with only one steering servo, but obviously it was ok.
  4. There is an App to download (free) its called RC cheats. Tells you all you need to know.
  5. Are you getting another 5th or have we lost you to another scale?
  6. Race or Bash? They can do both!!
  7. I can change my car to the truggy or BMW X6 for minimal cost (if I wanted too) Think that's what I said above
  8. The Marders trump card was that it was so versatile and easily changed with a couple of parts. Looks like the new cars are of a similar nature. And that is so cool.
  9. If the like of the Marder is anything to go by, these cars will be around for years to come. Unlike the other manufactures that update their TK cars at least once a year. Interesting point though with the other body shells. It seams the Losi 5t may have its own class (short Course) unconfirmed I should think. I guesse the SC truck will be amongst them (if there's enough) is the BMW still a buggy? Probably yes, same as the Beetle. But what about the Truggy version, it's 4 x 4 but would it be able to race as a buggy? Suppose it's a bit similar in looks to an MCD, and that has a bit of a truggy look. Just wondering on Racing Class of these body shells.

    We're Back!

Hey' it's now ok on the I pad too. Good work boys.
  11. My Sportsline FG is plastic fantastic. This makes it light, quick off the mark, and hopefully very agile. If it takes a knock it may break, yes I know this. But hopefully it will build the confidence in me to dance round the MCD's. This is what makes racing so much fun. Bring it on!!
  12. Come on then guys, get your leopards and lets go racing in 2013. Cheers' big fella.
  13. Brilliant idea, and a Great early result from it. I hope I get to be in the running, will be something different to really race hard for..Makes The 2013 Season even better.
  14. Not run the car yet. I'm hoping to attend a couple of Nene Valley Raceway's Club events, to settle the car, and then run it in The Challenge Cup Race at Essex in February. Will probably start a new thread for its first Club Race, and keep the thread going through the racing of its first Season with updates from Race meetings. Looking forqward to running the car.
  15. Great News about the track side spares. Will I qualify for this, as I have only just bought my FG Sportsline, and intend to race the Nationals next Season.

    We're Back!

I have deleted the bookmark for the forum. Googled new link, signed in ok, but can't view most of the forum. The above post is also what I see. Guess that's me off for a bit, as I don't have a pc anymore.

    We're Back!

It's when I click on Modelsport uk forum, under the home page it says: server not found. I don't seem to be able to go to the first forum page. It obviously wasn't an issue before the fix. I am using an I Pad.

    We're Back!

I can't access the main forum front page. Tried loads, but says error not found. Can only seem to get into bits like this bit? Anyone got any ideas? I note there appears a few that are struggling with the same.
  19. Sound advice above. You could also score the top of your chassis and the bottom of your engine mount where the two meet. This helps to stop movement also.

The large scale BRCA Chairman can be found on the Nene Valley website. Im sure if you post or contact on that site you will get reliable advice. My understanding of it is, for large scale its 4 mtrs. However I would confirm this as above.
  21. My aim will be to run twin steering servos' thats one of the upgrades I will be doing allong with some basic Alloy bits. However initialy I want to try it in its basic form to see how it holds up to race conditions. I will be replacing bits as I go as I feel it needs it (but only as it needs it) not for bling. The car is very light compared to other models I have had in the past, this will go in its favour in many ways, as it dances round the MCD's. Oh no' is that a Challenge? Damn right!!
  22. You could get away with running anything round a field, as if it breaks you just take it home. On the other hand if it keeps going and proves to be reliable it would increase your fun factor instead of going home miffed due to poor quality breakages with cheaper stuff. At the end of the day, you really need to match budget and requirement!!
  23. Sorry Mike. Not looking to hijack your thread. The car is available from Rossendale Models. Aka RossMods.
