Im dying to get my hands on one of these but Ive only got

I took the car out tonight and I was blasting down a long straight for about 10 seconds and then it made a little popping sound as if a hose had popped off and then it died but when iconnected the rotorstart to it to restart it, it wouldn't budge now is that my enngine knackered,if it is depending on the damage can I rebuild it ie new piston, conrod etc etc

I found the part in the states and its called the fuel inlet nipple but cant seem to find one this side of the river which isnt good.

help I cannot find the part I need for love nor money I've looked all over the Internet and model shops, I can't even find a complete carb assembly

to be honest it was not even quarter the distance i have had it in the past so im i think the failsafe might need to be set up again and some new batteries in the rx lol

Ive got a mach .28 hyper7 and today i took it out to see what the new exhaust was like which was absolutely mental but anyway i blasted up the road, turned around and then came back past me and then literally it got about 20ft past me and i couldnt stop it, it just stayed WOT which wasnt good as i was heading straight towards a bollard but managed to steer it at the last second quite violently which caused it to flip over and the carburettor took the full brunt of the impact which wasnt good and ive managed to break the little nipple that the fuel supply pipe connects too at the botom of the HSN , I dont suppose i can actually buy the little collar with the nipple on it seperately and just replace that instead of a whole new carburetor??? Any help appreciated

Basically ive got some new silicone oil for my 3 diffs on my hyper 7 and im gonna sort them all out tonight but was wondering how much do i actually use inside each diff?

Ive just bought one of these rotosatrt kits and it states that it fits mach .28 engines but i cant seem to find an adaptor in the kit that'll fit, has anyone bought one of these or knows if there are different models that come with different adaptors, also the cog that is supposed to slip over the one way bearing is too big and the one way bearing just rattles around and slips inside the rotostart cog. any ideas. I dont suppose any body knows how many teeth are on the standard clutch bell also the amount of teeth of the standard spur gear on a hyper 7 TQ .28 sport? Cheers

cheers for your reply mate, i was just entreagued about the front and rears diffs and you've just made a valid point awell. i think i need to find out what comes as standard first before i go buying any more stuff lol

well ive done some more searching on here and i think ill give the 2 speed a miss as im more of a basher at the minute. Rcchris----- Thats exactly the info that i was after as i couldnt remember which way round the teeth amount went between the cluthbell and the spur. so if i went for starters with a 48t spur and a 13t clutchbell would that be the most extreme as for acceleration goes with the gearing also can you change the spur gears in the front and rear diffs and is it worth it? Well basically ive had the a hyper 7 tq .28 for two weeks now and have replaced the the chassis twice, the centre propshafts twice and the centre diff, now i think ive learnt to drive it lol and take it apart and put it back together lol i was thinking

Dont worry i found out everything i need to know about them.

Basically been looking around for different parts for my hyper 7 and came across one of these and wondered what it does without sounding too stupid, is it obvious and does exactly what it says on the tin or is there a bit more to it? Cheers

you'll have to excuse me as im completely new to all this but is there ways of changing the gearing for different effects ie more top speed/acceleration plus what sort of upgrades can be made to improve the car, is it worth changing the exhaust to a so called more expensive performance exhaust

what would anybody say the hyper 7 tq sport .28 top speed would be with a good tune just out of curiosity

well i took it all apart last night and it seems that theres pretty limited damage it looks like its the centre prop shafts and the chassis took the brunt of the impact so ive got replacement shafts and chassis for 15 quid off ebay which was a result (for my mate anyway as hes paying for it lol) all i got to do now is remember which bit goes where lol Not bad concidering i bought it last wednesday and ran it in on saturday afternoon then 2 days later im taking apart to fix it lol

Theres definatly a lesson to be learned here.... Dont let your mates touch them!!!!!!!

Took the car out down to my local homebase carpark to just generally give it a bashing check the steering as i adjusted the toe ealier this evening which is now spot on but made a mistake and let my mate have a go and guess what he went and crashed it head on with the curb at about 30mph, now the damage i can identify so far is a bent chassis,both centre shafts bent and possibly either the centre or front diff or even both as theres a god awful grinding/rattly noise come from the centre and i think thats about it until i start to strip down and try to narrow down the problems. just typical as i only ran it in yesterday but anyhow im armed with the manual and currently buying a load of new parts off ebay which is then being charged to my divvy mate.

I just took the wheels off and you can quite blatantly tell that the toe is out on both wheels so ive adjusted both wheels and gonna take it out in a bit and see whats happening but now at least they actually look straight. we'll see in a bit cheers

Also is there an upgrade for the brake as it stops but was wondering wether it could stop any better if you know what i mean.

Well ive got a high torque steering servo already just incase or more to the point when it breaks so you reckon its more than likely down to that, is there no adjustment in the front arms for example if one is longer than the other couldnt that cause to pull one way.

Ive basically just bought a hyper 7 tq sport and ran it in today along with some slight tuning and i cant beleive how fast this thing is but anyway the problem i got is the car is pulling to left slightly and ive got both trims all the way round and its still pulling,i was wondering wether theres a way of adjusting the arms to straighten it up, I thought i would ask instead of doing it just incase. Ill take another trip down to my local model shop and see if they have any im not to bothered at the minute as i cant get the bloody thing to stay running for more than 10 seconds but i think i know how to sort that problem.
